There's a very narrow spot where it can land, right below the small slope that's sticking out. I don't know how to explain it, but it will land in such a way that once you're on the sword you can just press "Left" and you can walk all the way to the chest, the sword is high enough that you don't need to jump from the sword to the chest area. To be honest after I replied to your message and went and gave it another go and had trouble landing the sword with all my mana, but usually I'd get it in the first 3 tries. It's a good idea to get Mana Drain so you can farm mobs if you run out.


I just made it to Chapter 20 and I got to say, the Poseidon Chapter, I believe it's 18, wins my award for most cancerous level design.
Nothing better than trying to preserve your resources while trekking through two areas, to then be greeted by a pitfall chase with obnoxious camera angle and off screen vertical movement enemies (which also damage/knockback on contact) and then to have to last through a surprise boss fight at the end as well. I can only imagine how frustrating this level must've been before the dev added the wings upgrade that saves you from pitfalls instead of dying right away.

I only thought about it while doing the next chapter, I wonder if Ice Orbs ability would've made it easier to deal with flying enemies during the tentacle chase.
It is not that frustrating if you learn enemy positions and just use the ice orbs. You are basically immune to any enemy that would hit and knock you back into the tentacles like bats/fish since they'd die on contact.
 
Which version do you guys use?

And is it normal for it to just say "Decompressing data.unity.3d..." and seem like it's doing nothing and taking forever?

EDIT: I got an out of memory error. I guess my machine is too potato. Last time i had the luck to download all the files dazedanon uploaded.
Anyway, i'll check my frameworks and try different versions, but maybe i'm just fucked.

Use UABEA
I dont use AssetStudio often since 99% of the time I just open the archive, sort alphabetically and i'll find the mosaic/pixel assets I need to mess with

Follow the link bellow the file link for the how to. Since you need to unpack some game file, and it require a specific tool.

Instructions:
Unpack:
1. Open up Asset Studio and click File > Extract File
2. Select `data.unity3d` inside `/Game/HolyKnightRicca_Data`
3. Extract to `/Game/HolyKnightRicca_Data`. Move all data files inside data.unity3d folder into `/Game/HolyKnightRicca_Data`.

Patch:
1. Download the attached file and extract it to `/Game/HolyKnightRicca_Data`
2. Replace the globalgamemanagers.assets file.
3. Rename `data.unity3d` to `data.unity3d.bak` inside `/Game/HolyKnightRicca_Data`

as for the version, theorically the latest should be the best.

There another method to uncensor on F95, but it seem based on the use of the bepinex tool, dunno what side problem it can bring up.
 
I currently using 472, But I believe Dazed said you should use the other ones
 
Is there any way to replay the trap and grapple animations short of redoing the entire level that has them?
 
Magic Shards are easily changeable.

Yeah but I just want to see the grapple animations and trap animations again. Is there a gallery for that?

Also I tested, speed hack doesn't really work.

As for my feedback on the game. Many levels were excessively long with minimal or even non-existent gameplay mechanics other than a regular enemy every 5 steps. Some levels were a lot longer than they needed to be and the temple arachne level was completely filler as all plot points were pointless (The MC can't ditch the only competent spell caster she knows, the two rescued people are never brought up again). I actually do really like the corruption aspects the second final boss (of the non-bonus route) and the bad endings are really chilling in this game.

The arachne level was actually good for farming crystals on hard mode before tackling the later stages of the game.
It is one of the few levels at this point in the game that has an abundance of enemies without any boss fight or other time consuming tedious encounter.
Once you unlock chapter 21, that one becomes better for farming crystals, but before that Spider Temple was what I used for my farm runs.

I didn't find any way personally.

A lot of the grapple animations are pretty hot. The developer probably should release a "trap level" so that we can see them.

My estimate is over 8, rainmaker, arachne, Big goblin, arachne, sea serpent, dragonfiend, succubus, mud orc, sea anenome, mimic.
For traps we had about 5 IIRC. Delta Horse, slime tentacles. silver slime tentacles, aphrodiasic gas, Succubus enhancement beam.

None of these are rewatchable at the moment. Overall though this game was great and probably going to be the best game released for 2021. It basically has the graphics and customization of Koikatsu with some gameplay and good serviceable story. Downsides were day 1 difficulty and inability to simply play the game as a VN because the general gameplay isn't as tight or fun as a non-pornographic platforming action game.

Grapples: Golems, Orc, Highwayman, Arachne(Black), Raincaller, Mudrot Orc, Hell serpent, Roper, Mimic, Succubus Miria, Village Guardian, Poseidon, Archlich, Darkfiend Dragon

I dont recall a succubus enhancement beam though..
