I'm not distributing the game, only a patch. You'll need a copy of the game if you want to play.
Back at this game, after developing a custom patcher.
Everything to apply this patch is in the read me file.
The game is 100% translated and the dictionary (objective indicator of the machine translation quality) is 15% done.
Thanks to new the patcher, the dialogues look even a bit better. I manually fixed the 3 sentence dialogues system (you would know if you tried translating this game) so the 4th line properly triggers a new message page.
The broken menus (you would again know if you tried translating this game) are now easy to translate--so easy that the auto-translator can somehow handle it. By the way, I would have added a mouse script if not for how the menus work. This just can't be adapted to this game without some intense ruby scripting.
Now that everything works just fine, I can switch focus and gradually add more entries to the translator dictionary and improve English sentences.
Translation was made using a custom RPG Maker auto-translator. Excluding the manual translated parts, sentences are translated using a combination of a custom dictionary, custom sentence models and Google machine translation service. Pictures are also automatically translated (mainly OCR+machine translation+text over picture).
The translation is a byproduct of the development of the auto-translator and is not edited. You shouldn't bother with it if you actually understand Japanese but you should find it better than using a text hooker.
