(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

And more tip to ppl, those avenger type mummy is weak to assasinate with 1.5x chance in the formula.
This mean you can kill them before their hp went to low and get 3x atk (the big 1 have 500 atk base and at 25% hp or less will become 1500 atk)

Sounds like my Rogues will get some use against them, guess its a good thing Aigis loves giving me Rogues... >.>; 2 Berna, 2 Cypria, 1 Betty and countless Cecily and Harissa.... Maybe Saki and definitely Sybilla during their skills.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

It's a star event, everyone was begging for one. This is the only one they could give with the loli problem.

Poor planning? Same thing happened on DMM. They had some lolis in-between, but Horace happened really soon after Charlotte regardless. Now wait for the last plat Magic Fencer to be in the gacha in just a few months.

Difficult? Deal with it. DMM players barely had time to AW anything before Horace rolled around for them. At least we have prior knowledge to just about anything that ever happens to us. After Solano, anything goes. And if you really need to, just buy some blessings.

1. Nutaku are probably only people in the world who would call Noel loli and see problem with her.
2. There was 2.5 month difference between Charlotte and Horus, and almost 2 month difference between awakening and Horus. I've had Spica awakened in less than 2 months after starting playing on DMM, so calling it "barely had time" is just lie.
It will take me one week (to raise silver fodder to 30CC1 and gather orbs) to awaken 3 units, and depending on silvers drops, several more in a month.

I don't see a lot of the units on DMM as "loli" though I find it hilarious people keep calling Shiho a loli....

I'd love to just GET awakening so I can AW a few of my main units already, namely Sybilla, Sherry, Monica and Bashira.

Looking at Noel, she certainly is a lot more loli than anything else we have in the game...

Oh, guess I should dust off my Berna #2 and #3 as well. I was thinking of just using them for D&G, but this sounds good too. Would've been nice to have Berna AW'd for that auto-retreat passive though.

Maybe I'll bring out Sybilla #2 as well, but I doubt she'll be necessary.

1. Loli is a subjective call. Noel is a literal dwarf, so she has more reason to objectively be labeled loli than most other units.
2. It isn't Nutaku, but payment processors.
3. Two months isn't a long time, especially considering JP players had no clue at the time. Awakening three units isn't a lot either, especially considering you will have to re-raise them.

Well this is Noel (fanart mode)

I say majority of ppl will say she is loli, although the truth in fact she is way older than most of your unit :p (JP ppl called her Loli Granny *Puppuru included*)

While i kind of regret she not going to be out in nutaku (specialy her AW ability is of xtreme important)
I hope at least they give us kagura (5% atk on melee class is important !!!)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

working on event guide now.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I say ditch the crappy anti-loli payment processor. It's way overdue.

"Re-raising" them takes half a day worth of charisma, units rehab all their stats at ~20-30 level. And then these 2 months are enough to raise them to ~AW70 levels, and at that point they have huge stat increase compared to pre-aw version.
Abilities like extra 7% of damage for all units of certain class group make HUGE difference immediately. So does switch from 3 blocks to 4 blocks and tons of extra HP and def for HA, or extra stalling for witch attacks.
I've went through this on DMM, just awakening Spica alone made huge difference for me and I finally could clear most of god-tier maps from that point.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Horace is next huh...? Man, charlotte was made obsolete real quick.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

No news about awakening?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I know how important and powerful AW is.

But say we get AW now and we put off Horace for two weeks... it won't be that big of a difference for most players. We'll get it sooner or later.

I've already come to terms that the Nutaku version of Aigis is always going to be messed up. Fortunately, I can overcome anything due to veteran status. But AW at this point isn't a make or break thing.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Thus far no, well at least not since last comment about it which was asked months ago. Only thing that was said about it then, was that it was expected to be live before the new year. We still got a month, so possibly after the event or during an update for the events release.

Won't know till we get it I guess.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I say ditch the crappy anti-loli payment processor. It's way overdue.

You'd be surprised how few options there really are. Especially when working with us in the states. It's less of a problem abroad, but for the US it's actually pretty difficult to find many business partners that have zero qualms with any and all adult content (especially borderline illegal stuff).

This is not to say that loli is illegal, but it is bad for business in the US. The difficulty is compounded by the fact that you need your payment processor to be reputable, able to handle a large crowd, and a long-term partner. As a business partner you want someone who can provide stable and secure transactions for a game which you can deliver content for 3+ years easy, if not more, with what you already have on the DMM version.

It's also for these reasons that the payment processor would likewise be reluctant to allow loli content. If it's a small otaku crowd not many eyebrows would be raised, but if somewhere down the line Nutaku has 2, 3 million players and draws public attention for its loli stuff, bad things could happen. "Give the players what they want no matter what" is not a model any game developer has ever used successfully.

Of course I too would like to see the loli units, if for nothing but their stats and abilities, but I can understand the difficulty they are having. It's not like it's some imaginary problem that can be immediately solved by switching from MasterCard to Visa.

Obligatory reminder that MangaGamer's and JAST USA's payment processors have no problem with much more explicit and hardcore loli porn. Rika from "euphoria" looks much younger than, say, Noel, and sex acts she engages in would make Nutaku/Probiller have heart attack.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I just don't buy that excuse when we've got companies like Mangagamer and Sekaiproject putting it out no problem. I'd like to think it's something Nutaku can fix as they age (I don't actually know how old Nutaku is) rather than avoid, censor, or give us "replacement" units.

I'd like to give Nutaku the benefit of the doubt that they're working with the best payment processor they can, but given other companies are dealing in similar or worse content with no issues whatsoever, I'm skeptical.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

One possibility on the payment processor issue is that Nutaku may be stuck in a contract with them that they can't afford to break early.

If this is the case, here's to hoping that it time's out soon, so we can get the full content and not replacements/whatever!

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

It should be noted, that Nutaku includes a very large regional market.
Saying the US, Europe and South America are it's target market would not be giving it the more verbose range that it actually has. DMM still caters to a largely Japanese only market.

While Nutaku is releasing content in English, it's player base is much wider, and has to account for multiple international laws. Some places like where Grom is from (if I remember right), have a no tolerance to anything Loli, it can't even hint of being loli. Is why so many use proxies, and other assorted methods to get past region blocking for external sites.

While I am probably the most vocal person about "lack of content" or any form of editing (hell the JP using mosaics annoys the hell out of me), I'll give Nutaku marks for trying to reach the broadest market for the content. If it's niche, but niche everywhere that can be quite a sum of players.

Also, and Lafate can correct me here, but Nutaku did say previously "according to the Devs" we will not be getting back to back events until we hit a certain player threshold. We obviously have. Eventually this type of growth could mean regional servers where content is more or less set based on local laws instead of international.

Simply put, don't think the kinks that deny us content are unique to a specific place because that isn't true. It's because of the global scale Nutaku is trying to reach. With out that reach, you should really question if we'd be having back to back events already.
