Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

If you seriously cannot understand why Liana can still be useful given her cost, you're beyond help.

When did I ever say she wasn't, calling her bad is because barring extreme circumstances, she's outdone by a lesser cost healer. Obviously range and cleansing and useful. Obviously static healing is good. But when it's overkill and completely unnecessary for most if not all content we're doing? Why not just use a lesser cost healer who will get you what you need when and where you need it and you get like a 6-8 cost bonus by doing so?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

However, the original maps do not get harder in any way.
We already had this discussion and established that yes, some of them do get harder. Increased attack speed for fish, increased stats of red dragon and so on.

Enemy buffs are very, very rare. The sahuagin is one; the rest, if any, can be counted on one hand.

@rawr it's ok, listen to taikishi:
That said, while certain gacha and event units are OP, and some event units are really bad, the best advice I can give is this: This is your team, not mine. Pick the ones you like and raise a good mix of units among all of the classes because you just never know who might become useful when.

Okay... I already mentioned the sahuagin one. And that was technically not a buff. They were made faster in a later event so when the original event got the revival they just "normalized" them. That red dragon was also an isolated instance. I checked stats and it seems like they gave the stronger red dragon stats of the one in the dual dragon map to the solo red dragon. Yeah, if you want to argue, they were buffed, but it is better explained as someone mixing up stats of different versions of the same enemy by mistake.

My point is that when an event gets a revival, the enemies aren't going to globally have +100 attack or something. Ninety-nine percent of the time, nothing changes. One percent of the time, like one small change to one specific enemy happens.

And I'm talking Aigis as a whole, including both DMM and Nutaku.

Thank you Sora.

So me seeing the value of cost effective units makes me a jerk? It's called playing the game efficiently. Sorry you can't see that aspect of the game.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Can't we all just be friends.

Liana isn't bad. Liana is expensive.

We good? Can we chill?

I mean even if she was bad, as long as she can warm the bed she's still good.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

What does that make a bad undead unit who can't warm the bed?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Revivals these days typically include *the addition* of a special new G map that, judging by tradition and the map's cost, is supposed to be incredibly difficult. However, the original maps do not get harder in any way. I don't know which side of the fence you're on, but I had to say this.

Enemy buffs are very, very rare. The sahuagin is one; the rest, if any, can be counted on one hand.
All I want is clarification really. I was told a many long while ago Revivals were difficult in general, not just with the addition of the extra difficult map (in fact, it wasn't until way later after that did I learn of the super G map). If specific enemy buffs only happen in certain instances, I can accept that, it makes sense since the MG sagahins appear in Claudia's, but not Beatrice's (DMM wise). However, that still means that it does happen and something to be aware of even if it's a rare occurrence.

I feel kinda bad that I haven't max leveled a single special awakening character I own yet.

Edit: Now I actually feel worse after realizing Claudia is the highest level even though I got the rest MUCH earlier and I don't even use her. <.<
Here I thought I was the only one. :V

I was going to AW Claudia, but then lolrandomroll Olivie happened.

It doesn't make sense for them to buff revivals. That makes it harder for those who weren't around for the original to still do the event. The people who can handle the increased difficulty are mostly veteran players; but veteran players have no need to redo events that they, in all likelihood, already finished.

Not to mention there is the discrepancy of what happens when the same event gets multiple revivals. Do they buff it once or each time? Simply, they don't buff revivals at all. I played DMM, I basically live in the QuakeNet IRC #aigis channel with full-time DMM players, and I can assure you that revivals are not specifically made harder. The most that happens is, like the sahaugin fish, they were buffed in a different event and are "normalized" when their introductory event is revived, but even that pattern has little to no showing.

And yes, Sue da' best.

That's all I mean. I'm not arguing whether it makes sense or not, just that it happens. Not too long ago you argued that they don't happen period. I'm just satisfied that I've finally learned that buffed enemies for revivals are just a rare occurrence rather than a normal thing.

It is semantics at that point. I wouldn't call the vampire paralyze thing that we had to go through a buff. I wouldn't call the sahaugin shooting thing that we had to go through a buff. I call them updates, fixes, or mistakes.

This is how negative people think though. You gotta think positive, Nutaku likes to call them "features".

You should have shaken her up harder!(?) So finally the SFW page is getting some content, to be honest i was getting bored of all the naked girls xD
I can't comment on your loot, but they should have had prepare human size pillow of several waifus and have them for a raffle :3
-------

Regarding the revivals, the only thing that really change in dmm with them is the fact that they start to have the 100% first time drop (this started on August i think), plus the 90/12 map in farm events that drops that has 100% on the unit for that event (this is also fairly new), they're indeed more difficult that the 60-70/7 map but normaly they don't require the use of AW units beyond Spica for the buff on archers.
