Haha, Thank you for the praise, Right now the only thing makes me afraid is running out of idea of H pose. I mean I prefer to show genitals to screen while characters having sex, but that poses are limited and it makes me think "didn't I used this pose already? should I make a new one?" and then work progress goes slow like a snail because I keep draw and erase the H animation X_X; I really want to fix this bad habit, but it's not easy haha...

Hmm can't help with specific poses, but I always liked how some enemies have their own gimmick to them and their own ways to toy with the protagonist, I'd design those first, then come up with the scene from there. I might be pointing out the obvious here though

You've been INCREDIBLY imaginative with body positions so far, especially compared to other h-game developers. If you're worried about running out of ideas, maybe keep a notepad just for sketching out sexual positions and creature designs to go with them.

If I can throw my two cents in here, if you're that concerned with showing genitals but the position you're working with doesn't easily allow for it, why not do what some other H games do and have a little separate window open slightly to the side that showcases those details? Sort of like those x ray window shots you see in some pictures and what not. That way you can have the best of both worlds.

penetrating, pull out after cum in, x-ray mode, pregnant and etc....are most of the maker and many game didn't do it (most of them though it is fine without it but it really make me very very not satisfy) those contents make the H-scence look more smooth, realistic, fluent and marvelous!!!!
other thing that most creator lazy to draw or show the pussy and dick they just hind or make the angle that I can't see them..... just like the censer .........I come for porn too see the sex stuff like pussy and dick contact/fight each other .....not to see side body or mosaic on the body!!!

if you run out of ideas you can make new custome or clothes such as bunny ear, collar, sex dress....... it make the H-animation more variety and sexy! (and more work LOL!)

Sometimes you don't always have to show the genitals onscreen. Sometimes it's best to imply what is happening in order to get the players' imagination going. Just a thought.

Thank you for the praise ! Sketching out sexual positions is the part of my work process that I usually do. it always gave me unexpected result whether it was good result or not @_@a;

Oh yeah, I do that sometimes, it have both good and bad for that: it satisfies me while I working on those kinda stuff, but it gives me double work since I have to draw separate images of both characters and zoomed genital. XD

Unfortunately, Anthophobia is not built in for costume system X_X;; If I want to add costume, It'll take tons of time to add them.

What a great game this is.
I've played through a lot of sprite-based hentai games thanks to this forum, and Anthophobia is one of the most refined ones, I'd say.
The environments are different, the enemies don't feel repetitive, there's no "run and shoot" tactic many games employ.
As someone said earlier, Anthophobia is a great game even without the H-content.
The H-content is different, too. It's not made so it would justify the game's genre, it's made in a way that shows the circle's passion towards creating a great game.
Gameplay-wise, it makes you think, and I love that in H-games. And H-wise, I return to it every week to hear Sumire and Flower Girl's moans while sexy stuff is happening.

Awaiting 2.0 like a second coming of Christ.

Also, a wallpaper (or a pack of them!) would be a great addition to 2.0 release.

there are several ways you can deal with that monster. the major hint is this : use headset and focus on noise to figure out where the monster come from.
You can insta kill monster if you find him before he touches you.

Unfortunately, you can't rescue the kitty zombie that already found her mating partner.

So far this game still regarded as one of the BEST ACT H-Game I ever played.
(Candidates are few, like: UnholySanctuary, Kurovadis, FlowerFairy, Barrage, LabStillAlive, etc)

I guess answer is later, for "Sumire" spelled as "堇" in Japanese, and in Chinese character "堇" means violet, which kinda like the flower blossomed on her head.

“堇菜”,"堇", as a general name describe these kind of flora in Chinese.



P.S. Steam has changed their censor policy, Now adult games can subscribed to steam without removal of adult contents. Many adult games are already swarming to it.

Just wanna say that I really excited to see the upcoming update, the most valuable moment of me are not even adult content in this game but a simplistic story flow and gigantic sun-hero in 2-x himself, a dramatic setup happens there really touched my feeling, for a post-apocalyptic world there still left a glimmer of hope that someone still capable to protect you by sheer force of will even after they fully transformed. Nice one there.

Will anything like this are to be expect in future update ? Guess I would be in for a surprise.

Most of positioning you been having them to us so far are mass varieties and very creative, many games I encountered are pretty much recycling the same post or sometime change them a very tiny bit but they pretty much reuse same pose over and over, just change the creature to make them look different, you, on the other hand are all unique and standalone, some even get along with its own lore so well, I like it.

It almost as if, you always thinks that some poses of them can be relate to its lore before you came up with an idea of how it should pose and progress into each of its step such as stand await - high guard wait for its prey, send up a familiar as it can't move, mindless-direct assault, brutally assault, try to reach you with adaptable evolution, pounce and caged you along everywhere to ensure a successful pollination process, etc. etc.

I believe as long as you hold into this thought process, as long as it not the same enemies, any pose or positioning you can came up with would hardly repeat the old one you been done.

As far as I remember, ACT game that has all unique pose would be yours, Vosmug and D-lis, there're still many that I might already forget but I you would count Demon girl and Jungle girl then they're one of 'em.

I had a lot of trouble with that part of the stage until I figured out the tricks. Fire is one way if you let it move into fire (e.g., shooting lanterns, molotovs). You don't always have fire though. I saved my molotovs for large groups in the latter half.

When the tree monster spawns you hear a scream. Then you hear footsteps/shuffling as it moves depending which direction you face. Let it approach you by facing away then turn back when it's closer and find where the background changes. Then walk up near it (a few steps away) and shoot the little flower bud up top. Jumping + shooting might also work here. One bullet is all it takes.

If you kill them one at a time as they spawn it's a lot easier.

Another tip: you can one-shot the plant dogs by shooting them in the back after they go past you. You can jump over them when they attack, turn around, crouch and fire. Instant death.

Those tips together made the section doable for me. Took me about 20-30 tries over 2-3 days to finally finish that section well. I kept trying to run through everything like stage 2 and dying near the end hahah. How frustrating.

BTW, Sourjelly, thanks for an excellent game. Survival difficulty has been very frustrating and difficult at times but rewarding once I beat a stage. Just need to play 3 1/2 and I'll have beaten everything.
