I read that there were some basic bugs. Like the V sensitivity and A sensitivity were swapped. Perhaps most of the art were done, but the game is far from done.
Could be a long wait. End 2025 maybe? (I hope not)
It's always the weirdest games that take the longest. We'll have stuff like monster girl quest paradox where it barely uses anything beyond standard RPGM systems and we know for a fact he just commissions artwork taking a decade to come out (based on my knowledge and given enough money for what is mostly subpar quality artwork anyway, I could probably recreate everything in both parts of MGQ in a year + another at most to properly edit and iterate the story), yet something random game with fully custom animations on a raw game engine featuring multiple convoluted systems will come out in a year or two, lol.
Still blows my mind that many games like Stardewvalley, Terraria, and Hollow Knight exist with 1/1000th the budget size and development time of many other indie games, ero or otherwise, and yet are several multiverses apart in terms of quality.
Those with patraeons have an obvious reason for taking so long of course, but I dunno why the rest do, especially already successful ones like MGQP.
This game in particular makes no sense, the previous two games were barely games at all and used 99% basic RPGM assets. Bugs like V and A sensitivity being swapped should be simple variable, formula, or class fixes that should be solvable within an hour and even that would be hella long, unless this guy years and multiple games later is still taking basic coding courses.
Not trying to flex, my whole point is that it'd make far more sense for some games to flounder, and base on what we've seen, this is not one of those games. He should have had this out hella quick.
