"I could do with a short nap." Kevin says, sitting down in a nearby chair and leaning back, looking over at Claudia "Seeing as how we just got back from a mission, I'm going to take a nap." he says, crossing his arms and slowly drifting off to sleep

"Right. Well .... I'm gonna go see what the two old guys are up to."

She chuckled and walked out.


"Hey Sean, what's going on. Oh ... Hi Mrs. Frederick."

Sean nodded at Ms. Frederick's statement. "First thing, I think we need to completely isolate the containment system from everything else, and set up redundancies. We really don't want to have vulnerable to outside access."


Sean looked over at Claudia. "Like I told you, one of the higher ups is here."

"That should be the easy part setting them up. Fire walling them to outside hackers will be the main challenge, but I can do that in a couple of days once everything else is set up. Show me what you want to have done."


Mrs. Frederick only nodded.

"Do what needs to be done, but I can only spare the WHOLE team a day off. After that you'll need to resume as normal."

"Works for me, I'll walk my way out!" she called, headed back to the Bed and Breakfast.

Sean excused himself momentarily, and went to open the scanner door for Sarah. Once he returned, he looked at Chris. "Be nice to get them in. Playing door warden does get a little old after a while."

"Agreed. We'll do that first thing in the morning. I wonder, are the speakers still connected to Leena's?"

Sean blinked. "Uh..." He about half turned to glance at Claudia.

"Well unless you tore them down, yeah. Why?"



Chris didn't answer that, only keyed a mic sending a message to everyone.

"Attention folks, tomorrow we'll be placing you into the system so you can scan yourselves in from now on. So get some rest, we start that early tomorrow morning."


Mrs Frederick just shook her head.

"I'll be in the Bed and Breakfast if you need me."

With that she walked off.

After napping for a short while, Kevin awoke and stood up, walking out of the lab and towards the door, remembering that he couldn't get out without someone's help "Sean? Anyone here? Need the doorman to give me a hand here." he half yells so that Sean can hear him, wherever he is

Sean turned, and about half-glared at Kevin. He'd been standing not that far from the door. "Not a problem, although the yell wasn't that necessary."

Before he went to the scanner door, though, he stopped and caught Chris' attention. "I'm going to head out to the B&B."

He then headed to the scanner door, and let Kevin and himself through.

"Right, I'll be going over schematics with Claudia for the backups you mentioned. We'll set them strategically around to make it next to impossible to take them all out."

After the dishes were done, Chris led the group into the Warehouse, and with Claudia's help, got each member settled in with their own system ID.

With this done, he led them to the first entry way, popping off a panel.

Behind it was a large bomb.

"In the event of a hostile take over, the self destruct can be armed in several locations, which we will visit in a bit. These bombs, scattered throughout both tunnels will detonate, completely collapsing the tunnels and killing entry and escape. Each one can be set to go off one alone in the event of a forceful entry."

Ellen nodded along with the explanation, carefully digesting every detail. "Is there anything stopping people from making their own entrances?" She asked when there was a lull in his speech.

"Trying to blast your own entry way would also set off these explosives, effectively leaving a gaping sixty foot hole in the ground with no way to cross it. Well, short of bringing in massive equipment to build another entry way that is."

Ellen just nodded, seemingly satisfied. "Alright."

It wasn't exactly the answer she wanted, and it raised a couple more questions, but she was content to wait and listen.

"They'll never make it into the Warehouse so long as I'm on guard duty." Kevin says from the back of the group, his arms crossed as he looks over at Chris "Though, these could come in handy if I'm outnumbered too heavily."

He then leads them a bit further in.

"Ok here we have the main entry door to what is known as the dark vault. This vault houses those artifacts deemed highly dangerous and is heavily layered in neutralizer agent. Due to the ... dangers of these artifacts, in the event of a massive malfunction where the warehouse systems shut down the agent completely, the entire vault will detonate what we call an implosion bomb."
