Webcomics of win

Re: Webcomics of win

for those that do not know, NerfNow did Dwarf Fortress. Funniest comment lines: "Lies. Dwarves never put out fires"

Re: Webcomics of win

Girls with slingshots.

Two girls, a bar, and a Talking Mexican Cactus with a Scottish brogue.

Not to mention blatant lesbianism and lots of funnies.

I now have to try Vodka poured through a Twinkie.

Re: Webcomics of win

: funny, but a little stupid in places
: a now very long and old story comic about fandom, mostly scifi and modern fantasy.
: loved this comic and all its sequels and spinoffs, which doesn't happen very often.
: an angel screws up some files in heaven and then a boy becomes and a girl and another girl loses a year of her life, also there's drag racing for..... some reason.
: very, very good art, also very slow updates. like, once a month. oh and super science. and crackpot theories. I can't describe it very well but I love it.

also approve of el goonish shive, penny arcade, vg cats, gunnerkrigg court, questionable content, girly, megatokyo, and looking for group, but they've already been mentioned and linked to.

Re: Webcomics of win

Dueling Analogs. Pretty funny. Haven't read through the archive yet, but just a few strips in and I already love it.

Omake Theater. Loving it. Recognized a strip or three that I'd seen on here before.

Re: Webcomics of win

Erfworld alwys manages to amaze me, how so much is constantly happening in every strip, even when things move so slowly... for anyone who doesn't read it you've seriously got to check it out.

Re: Webcomics of win

Has anybody mentioned subnormality yet? They've been featured on cracked a bunch of times. Don't go there expecting some quick fun, though - .

A wall of barely readable text, inconvenient strip size(on one hand, my monitor is only 1024*768. On the other hand, higher resolution would make the text even less readable) and art that is quite poor quality even by webcomic standards? No thank you. When reading the strip has been made that inconvenient, I don't even care if it's any good.

So... basically... tl;dr? Then did you really need to post about it?

Re: Webcomics of win

It's either post this here or "What made you giddy today?" and I opted for here, because, well, I guess it's a webcomic.

They did a Left4Dead comic and I suppose it's old news now but it's on the web, and because the last panel on made me laugh so freaking hard, I figured I'd post it up. No spoilers on this page and if you've played/watched/know anything about L4D, I hope it will be as amusing to you.

Also, from the beginning. Yes, has spoilers for Sacrifice.

Re: Webcomics of win

They need to make 3-D work like it's supposed to.

I forget where the talk on this show was, so I put this here.

Re: Webcomics of win

Amusing comic strip, but the show is turning out well, and the comic is amazing.

"Yes, I realize that BioWare made both lists. For the same thing. If you've ever played a BioWare game, then you know
what I'm talking about.

This is actually a takeoff of an old joke: Heaven is Where the Police are British, the Chefs are Italian, the Mechanics are
German, the Lovers are French and it's all organized by the Swiss. Hell is Where the Police are German, the Chefs are
British, the Mechanics are French, the Lovers are Swiss and it's all organized by the Italians.

I've never been to Europe, so for me the joke is as true as the European stereotypes on which it's based. But I like the
symmetry of it."

So I'm not the only one here who reads Shamus Young's stuff.

Re: Webcomics of win

Oy.

You know, I really like Square-Enix's storylines. And sure, when you put it like that, FFX sounds ridiculous. But y'know, X was hardly my fav...
