What made you feel giddy today?

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

But I'm not Irish. I didn't know I had any Irish ancestry until now.

So you've got irish ancestry but you're not any part irish? Or you mean you didn't know until recently that someone if your line was irish? Cuz one of those doesn't make any sense.

But yeah its a cool thing to find out. Hopefully you're lucky enough to have a good bit of irish, but enough of other influences so you're not bogged down by the poorer irish qualities

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

does this mean your going to start beating your wife?

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

What does being Irish have to do with beating your wife?

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

A breakdown of stereotypes:

Irish>>>Drinks beer in excess
Drinks beer in excess>>>Angry alcoholic
Angry Alcoholic>>>Beats wife

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

No we're friendly alcoholics, the scots are the angry ones.
I mean sure we'll punch each other, but we're all still friendly.

I just mean the poor skin, pigmentation, hair coloring, body hair growth, things of that nature I guess.

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

you'd be surpised how screwed up that can get just by changing hemishpere.

Last time I checked the sun rises and sets in the same direction down there :p

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

yeah but your north south gets completely screwed up

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

And your water goes backwards.

Nah, it's entirely based off which way the sun is and memory, I'd wager it wouldn't get screweed up. (Before you make a comment about night, remember memory :p)

I'm half English, half Scottish. Not any part Irish, or so I thought until recently. Turns out my Scottish ancestors' anscestors were Irish, so there's a tiny fraction of Irish buried somewhere in that 'half Scottish'.

The new Homestuck album has finished downloading.

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

The guy that writes is gonna be writing Deadpool. It makes me wish I had a disposable income to see who Deadpool is before seeing what the Doc's wit adds to it :p

Re: What made you feel giddy today?

I don't care of you hate C+A+D or not, but his webcomic today made my fucking week. And yours too if you've played DA2.

BWAHAHAHAHA.

EDIT: His news entry thing made it all the better.

Everyone is familiar with the opportunity to have sexual relationships with your companions in recent Bioware games. Heterosexual, homosexual, whatever, it's all good, and it's all fair game. But generally you have to initiate these relationships by finding opportunities to flirt with your companions.

So imagine my surprise when, after helping Anders with a quest, he suddenly starts telling me how he and Karl would "comfort" eachother during their hard times in the Chantry, and how Karl was his first, and oh by the way, he thinks my Hawke is hot stuff.

Imagine my even greater surprise when, after this, my only response options are two choices to flirt back with him (heart icons), or an option to just shoot him down flat. And let me tell you, if you don't return Anders' advances, apparently he's not the kind of guy that handles rejection well. You either flirt back with him, or you're looking at an immediate 10-15 Rivalry points right off the bat.

In the end, I did the only thing I could. I whored myself out for Friendship points. I'm a Friendship point slut. I assume that at this point, I've degraded my Hawke's self-esteem so much that he'd fuck a god damned pineapple if he thought he'd get Friendship points out of it.

So, if you haven't reached this part in the game yet, prepare yourself. Anders gets what Anders wants.

Protip: It's called torrenting all the previous Deadpool comics if you don't have the money to buy them.
