Totally caught my brother red handed eyeing up Humba Wumba in 'Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts' yesterday. Took a good long look, changed camera angles a few times, then noticed I'd walked into the room. He pulled a "caught!" expression for a moment, then gave a sly nod and went back to his game. I laughed.

[Edit - I also returned the sly nod.]

Yesterday's giddy, but it was a bit of a day. I managed to double my money playing chuck-a-luck at the festival that I went to with my mom, her date, and my one friend. Started out with three bucks and walked away from the table with six and a half. Then I got pizza frita and all was right with the world. After that, my friend and I wound up laughing our fool heads off playing Little Big Planet and just screwing around in the pod with the expressions and the dragging. We were laughing so hard we were both crying and we really, really needed a night like that. All in all, a good day.

I love that site.

Not only did I win $30 worth of free scratch off lotto cards, I then proceeded to win $26 dollars from said cards. Gotta love free money.

I found out the wife of a cousin of mine is going to be starting the vet tech program next year :3

oh shit. grats. isn't getting into a vet program extremely selective? i heard it is harder to get in than med school.

Pffft. Not Veterinary Technology. VT is like Nursing school. Lots get in, few stay that way. Their process of selection is to see how long you can make it

Wait, no, that really sounds REALLY wrong.

Let me start over.

Starting up a new exercise regimen is what I meant. It's pretty fantastic to be up and full of energy before anyone else in the house is even awake. Also to have endorphin-y achey muscles all day! Mmm, (relatively) light work-outs.
