I was driving home and my windshield was(is) filthy, so I hit the wipers to not clean it at all and spread the filth to tolerable levels, I guess? I need wiper fluid. Anyway, the point is the dirt streaked in such a way that any light source visible from the drivers seat was connected to just in from of the steering wheel by a luminescent thread. It was neat.

Was playing through Fable, forgot how annoying the Trader escorts were. Bastard didn't give me money because of 'bruises and scars'. Loaded the auto-save, pulled back my bow, and shot his head off..... which apparently gave me 'Good' points.

Someone in the college noticed that I should be bumped up to the honors level. I had been seeing the adviser for my history degree as a primary, and my History GPA, while good, isn't amazing. However, I met my polisci adviser for the first time today (rather belatedly), and he did a double take at my degree audit. I think I may have to shift my focus on that degree.

It's a lot more work, but it's really boosted my optimism for employment and further opportunities.

Honours is a terrible terrible burden and will cause you to lose years of your life to stress.

But it is also the equivalent of a bachelours 50 years ago. because everone has a college degree nowdays.

Sheesh, am I the giddiest or something? Anywho, a new one: Today I got a new student ID cause my old one broke. However, when taking the new pic, my glasses hadn't adjusted from coming inside yet, so I look like I'm wearing badass shades on my ID. When they noticed they told me they normally make people take em off, but since these were my normal glasses it's okay.

I'm getting a massive tax refund of more than 500 bucks because I earned too little last year. If you earn less than 8000 within a year, you get back all the taxes that were deducted from your pay. I'm rich, bitch!

Weekend with the cuddlebuddy where we had the house primarily all to ourselves. Not to mention some retail therapy that, while making my wallet cringe, added to both the manga and frilly things collections.

*bounces* I passed my certification training. Granted, it was with an 83, but when it started throwing questions out there on diabetes health that we only barely covered in the training that was more than 6 months ago and not at all on the practice test, I started getting a little worried. Still, managed to pull it out and off and now I just wait for my log-in to stop working, because that means I've been upgraded from "cashier" to "technician" officially!

Yeah, was looking at some of the questions going "Ohshit" and taking notes on what I was going to have to review before the next time and then I hit the survey, then calculated my score and it was "Oh, thank godness!" *laughs* Like I said, it's an 83%, but I'll take it!

Well, considering the "workbook" that they gave us to do would have really been helpful in conjunction with the computer training courses instead of just on its own and then the classes touched on stuff in the workbook but not the exercises and the stuff I was stressing the most about wasn't even on the test...

I passed, that's all that matters *laughs*
