Because they see purchase to a foreign country and they don't know if it's a fraud charge.

To avoid this, just buy DLSite points with your card, then use those points for ci-en (at least I read somewhere that's possible)

OK, so...for whatever reason, there's a massive delay with getting the game updated on DLsite. Probably a shortage of staff to go over and approve the update.

As for the Ci-en side of things, the game has entered Version 1.60. (DLsite's version is 1.30)
The latest addition is blackmailing. Elulu will be forced to obey a molester who now knows where she lives and threatens to call the police on her if she doesn't do as she is told. The list of options include...
Defense Ban: Elulu will no longer be able to defend against molesters on the train.
Slutty Rules: Elulu will be forced to smile and be happy as she gets molested on the train. Plus, she must announce for all to hear that she is cumming. Loudly and clearly.
Confiscate Underwear: Probably self-explanatory, but the option isn't available yet, so the details are unknown.

As of this update, there is no way to escape this route. Once the options are in effect, they are permanent.

There is also a minor addition to the Status menu. The name "Flower Princess Elulu" can potentially change to "Dirty Prostitute Elulu". Probably not implemented yet, but it's a sign of things to come.

You're thinking of "Fleeing". Fleeing drains HP waaaay quicker.

I am a complete idiot... when i first read this, i didn't read the first character name mention as the character in the game, i read it as the creator of the game, (but read the rest as the character instead) and was legitimately worried about real-life until no other posts after it even expressed the slightest worry and i went back and re-read the post.

Hoo boy, that was a wild ride for a few minutes.

So for some unexplained reason, Yoshinobu has decided to stop production of the game for the rest of the month, and even went as far as to remove it from DLSite entirely. I imagine he just needs a break and he doesn't want to say that, but that doesn't explain why he removed it from DLSite. He did say it's nothing stupid like he hates the product or himself or anything, so I believe him when he says he will pick up production again, which he stated may be some time in June.

From what i know, DLSite should be taking 30% of earnings from all sales, i never heard about a constant fee to keep the game up unless they started that recently.
Great way to just push everyone that uses your site for porn games to place the games on steam instead...

There's also the possibility that he pulled the game due to a severe negative review he received on 30/04/2020.
However, with the DLsite sale page gone, it's impossible to debate whether it's true or not.

I know this dev takes feedback very seriously but I could not see anyone temporarily shutting off a source of income over a bad review, unless the review was from something much bigger than just a random customer such as a popular review site/blog?

Could be a financial dispute with DLSite, they have been known to screw developers in the past...
