Koike took another shot, and managed to connect with the eight-ball...Only for it to stop out in the middle of the table. "Random luck, yes. At least as long as it's related to making random spectacles in some game, that is. Other things...fairly normal."

'There's also a few things I really haven't tested with it, yet. But now probably isn't the best time.'

Gil grinned to himself, lined up another shot, and managed to get two sunk.

"I am so gonna make a comeback and win this shit."

Jack shook his head. "No, so far I'm following you here. Get your water and then continue if your up for it."

Koike stepped back over to the table, and tapped the corner pocket that was closest to him. "I'm going to call it, eight-ball, this pocket."

Probably to Gil's frustration, the ball does indeed get sunk in the indicated pocket, ending the game.

Koike reached into his pocket, and retrieved his watch. "Hm...It's starting to get late..."

Koike stepped back over to the table, and tapped the corner pocket that was closest to him. "I'm going to call it, eight-ball, this pocket."

Koike reached into his pocket, and retrieved his watch. "Hm...It's starting to get late..."

Gil looked at the sunk ball. He looked at Koike. He looked at the ball. Then he screamed.

"CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOOOOOOCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!"

Koike's voice dropped down to the same barely audible whisper he'd used this morning. "If this bothers you that much, then you're going to run a short patrol later. Just around the perimeter of the facility. Should run into a few of them you can take your anger out on."

With that said, Koike put the cue stick down, and headed up to the fourth floor stopping by the dining area. "Jack, it's starting to get late. If Bell wants us to be out for whatever she's got planned tomorrow night, we may want to consider turning in early."

Should Bell walk in, she would not be able to catch the subtle tone that Koike was using. Jack, however, would likely understand what Koike was actually meaning.

Bell hears the scream while she's in the kitchen getting her water. She downs her first glass and half of her second, then tops it off and comes back to the table.

"Sounds like they're having fun in there. Anyway, where was I again?" Just then she notices Koike and Gil in the room and doorway, respectively. "Oh, hey there you two, what was going on a moment ago?"

Koike shrugged before giving Bell a response. "Depends on the definition of fun. The cue ball did end up ricocheting off of several object, including a few light fixtures in here. At least, that's what I think it bounced off of. Anyway, I'm heading up. Figure some extra sleep might not hurt, given that you said you had something planned for tomorrow evening."

With that said, Koike headed upstairs. Unlike what he'd said in the dining area, however, he remained up, sitting in a chair in the meeting room.

At least, that's what I think it bounced off of. Away, I'm heading up. Figure some extra sleep might not hurt, given that you said you had something planned for tomorrow evening."

With that said, Koike headed upstairs. Unlike what he'd said in the dining area, however, he remained up, sitting in a chair in the meeting room.

Gil decided to head to the meeting room as well.

"Yo, you said I can go around and kill some motherfuckas?"

Koike nodded, then set a small computer out on the table. With a few quick commands, a holographic map of the town appeared. Another command, and the area immediately adjacent to the facility was highlighted in red. "Yeah, you sound like you might need to. Just try to stay close to the facility. There's a few areas further out that need to be checked, but I'd rather have either myself or Jack look at them, just in case I'm right about how active they are. While I won't argue that you're fast...If they catch you off guard...Your records do seem to indicate that you might not fair as well as either of the other two of our little group should they choose to introduce one of us to the finer points of a mass beating."

Gil shot another glare in Koike's direction, but calmed down after.

"So, while I'm doing that, what do you plan to do?"

Koike gestured to the wall where the observation computers were hidden. "I'll probably man the fort here, keep an eye on our guest. However, if either you or Jack gets back early, then I'll take a run myself."

Jack nods his head then looks to Bell. "Well, he does have a point there. We should all get some sleep if we're going to be up early. What time shall we all meet? I'll let them know on my way to my room."

Koike gestured to the wall where the observation computers were hidden. "I'll probably man the fort here, keep an eye on our guest. However, if either you or Jack gets back early, then I'll take a run myself."

"Alright, cool."

Gil went over to where Koike was sitting and looked at the cameras.

"Man, Jack looks even bigger on camera.."

"Yeah, I guess you're right, we should be off to bed soon." Bell says, disappointed. "How about we all meet here around dinner, then we'll eat and go partying, sound like a plan? Hopefully I'll see you around before then, so we can talk some more, 'kay?" She says, winking at him with a mischevious smile on her face as she saunters out towards the stairs.

"Pleasant dreams..."

Koike glanced at the screens, as Bell left the dining area, then snorted. "Kind hard to tell how much of that is interest, and how much is just her personality. If she does have the potential, though, I suspect she'd be of the sixth type."

He then heads back to the room where Gil and Koike are, entering and closing the door behind him. "Alright, she wants us all to meet her tomorrow evening down there in the dining area and then we're supposed to go have partying fun. That said and done, what's our status here?"

He then heads back to the room where Gil and Koike are, entering and closing the door behind him. "Alright, she wants us all to meet her tomorrow evening down there in the dining area and then we're supposed to go have partying fun. That said and done, what's our status here?"

"Well, she might be the sixth arcana. Other than that, I'm about to go out and do a patrol.

"I'm going to man observation and oversight, at least at first tonight. Gil's going to do a close in patrol." Koike moved over and typed in another command on his computer. A second, small area was highlighted in red on the hologram. "Jack, head for this outer area, and be careful. I suspect that it will have some activity. First, though, we're going to wait, and watch."

Bell reaces her room and checks the time. Seeing as it was still about twenty minutes from her usual sleep time, she spent a while on the two computers, then washed the makeup off her face, slipped into some silk pajamas, and went to bed, falling asleep rather quickly.
