Oh, our one neighbor just hates us is all.

Hell, we put up one of those playground things in our front yard - you know, playground equipment, it's got a slide and a couple swings - and the neighbor tried to get us fined for starting an illegal daycare

The problem is our neighbor hates us, and since you can now get in legal trouble for offending someone religiously, they are using that to their own needs. I know, because LAST YEAR, THEY HAD A NATIVITY TOO.

Grounds for getting the fine removed. Point that out, in a fashion that isn't accusitory, and there goes the neighbor's grounds for the complaint.

Particularly if there's some proof that the neighbor had that nativity.
