Oh, our one neighbor just hates us is all.

Hell, we put up one of those playground things in our front yard - you know, playground equipment, it's got a slide and a couple swings - and the neighbor tried to get us fined for starting an illegal daycare o_O

what is the legal problem with baby-jesus?

The problem is our neighbor hates us, and since you can now get in legal trouble for offending someone religiously, they are using that to their own needs. I know, because LAST YEAR, THEY HAD A NATIVITY TOO.

Grounds for getting the fine removed. Point that out, in a fashion that isn't accusitory, and there goes the neighbor's grounds for the complaint.

Particularly if there's some proof that the neighbor had that nativity.
