I generally don't pay any attention to the shoutbox at all, though, as it's way to cluttered with pointless glomping and herp derp stuff anyway.

Another reason why I left that place, that faggotry is as bad as the ERP'ing. Do people not understand how to have a decent conversation without being prime examples of why some people should be culled from the gene pool? And from what I've heard Incubus has been throwing his weight around in the chatbox recently, temp banning people for basically opposing his opinions.

Inky I believe. I wasn't in the shotbox at first, only arriving after TWO sent me a message on the other chat to the effect of "Hey, didn't Incubus chew you out once for cybering in public? All I've heard about the general population in the shoutbox are bad things. It seems that it's reputation is terrible.

You can blame the first person to discover /me command. Also, Aurani and Lila. I only go along because I'm easily influenced.

Edit: It has been brought to my attention that while Aurani is certainly far from innocent, there are arguably worse people in the shoutbox.

My post rate has dropped dramatically since the shout box came around. It's convenient and instant gratification. I chewed a piece of my tooth off yesterday. Easily hate thread material, but it was quicker to shoutbox my pain in real time, and get responses that I could reply to at the time of discomfort. Though I really should try to actually post in the actual forum. Will be forgotten if I keep this up.

But since I'm still lazy, I'm going to copy pasta a bit of what I said from the Shoutbox to here.

I'd like to say this is pretty much true. Then again I abandoned that cesspool when I found out we have a shoutbox.

Since the advent of the shoutbox, the quality in conversation has risen greatly in "that cesspool". I find it amusing that despite all the negative comments towards attitudes in the shoutbox, you'd call a place that was at one point rather similar and now better, a cesspool.

Indeed. If anything, I'm happy the shoutbox keeps all the stuff concentrated in one spot for easy avoidance.
