Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

"Yeah... I'm not hungry, want me to kill someone else anyway?" Claire asked, indicating the blood stains on her shirt.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

Listening to the various conversations, Izzy was quietly taking in the others responses to things and their notions on feeding. As River named off the things that could potentially be detrimental, something else popped into her head.

"Anything, or anyone, I guess, we shouldn't feed off of? Like, in Interview, eating from the dead was bad. Not saying that's a guide, but is there anything taboo or is that just...personal preference?"

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

"Also are there any places we should avoid going to, so as to avoid trouble?" Ronny says following the others out.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

"Feeding from anything older than recently dead gets you nothing except a nasty barfing episode, but pretty much anything that bleeds red is alright, unless you're Ventrue. Those guys can only feed on certain people, be they receptionists, rape victims, male carpenters, etcetera. And don't go into the wooded parks in the area, there's werewolves there." River explains calmly.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

"Werewolves...? Really?" Rosary blinked. Well if Vampires/Kindred were real, why not werewolves? But still! "Is there anything else that is running about that shouldn't be real but are that we should know about? Faeries? Angels? Cthulu?"

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

"Don't forget about demons, and martians dear. Also, remember that we're wanted for escaping Area 51," Claire muttered, though she hadn't taken her eyes away from River, whilst letting her hand drop to her side again.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

She grinned at Rashar again, "I think I could stand it if it'll help get those creeps off of the streets." her smile was positively vicious. Then she blinked at River, "Werewolves? Are you gonna explain that feud?" and she giggled at Rosary, "Oh yeah, what about mummies and wizards, hm?"

(Totally a reference to the OTHER WoD games: I wanna play Mummy. If i knew how to ST I'd start up a Mummy game here >.> )

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

River chuckled, and nodded her head. "I'm not sure what started the whole thing with the werewolves hating us, they aren't a talkative bunch. Suffice it to say, staying away from them is your best bet. As for what else is out there, I've seen faeries, werewolves, mortal wizards, zombies, and ghosts myself, and consider it a matter of personal safety to not discout anything, all the way up to dragons and whatever else you can think of."

By this time, the group had made it outside, River having stopped for a moment earlier to write a note for the people still in the basement. She stood by one of the two cars they had, tapping her fingers on the hood idly. "Downtown has the highest concentration of clubs, we'll head there. Does everyone have I'd's handy? I doubt it will matter much, except for Eve there." She said, motioning to the woman with a nod of her head.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

"We're going clubbing eh? Well if some of you guys are still worried about picking up girls, I know where a good gay bar is," Claire said as she moved outside the warehoues with duffel bags over her shoulder.

She got outside ahead of the group, and proceeded to hastily bury them both.

Eve grimaced, "Yeah, still have my ID on." She looked down at her frumpy clothes, "If we're going out to impress our meals, can i go change? I won't pick up anything in this." She plucked at her oversized t-shirt. Getting confirmation from River she rushes downstairs. After a few moments passed, she returns to the group. "Alright. Now I'm ready to go."

( Here, I'm too lazy to write it out for now, forgot shoes, but black tennis shoes will work fine here.)

And hau exactly an I suhhosed to attract anyun? Rashar acts as the mention of clubs and seducing food comes up.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

River shook her head. "You aren't going to. We're dropping everyone off, then you and I are going to find an alternate means for you. Eventually, you'll learn how to hide your appearance, but until then feeding on humans is pretty much out." She explains, dropping herself into the passenger seat of one of the cars.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

Ronny jumps in the back seat of the same car as River, "So since you said I'm probably Brujah. I was just wondering who else was Brujah, of the older kindred, not us new guys I mean?"

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

"There are a few you might recognize." River says. "Everyone has met Jack, the Keeper of Elysium. Him and Adam are the two most prominent, Adam being the Sheriff. Apart from that, there's the clan Promigen and a little under twenty others, but they're a bunch of hotheads and rabble-rousers, in my opinion." She explains, ending with a shrug as the rest of the group slowly files into the cars.

((The first two to volunteer are driving, otherwise I'm pulling two at random ;) ))

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

Eve slid into the driver's seat of one of the other cars. She made the adjustments to the seats and mirrors that were needed and then leaned back into the seat. "Feels good to be in control of something again." she murmured.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

((Izzy's got a vehicle, too, so I guess I'll take the other one, unless these aren't *our* cars. I don't recall there being a barn, though, Sin, so not quite sure what you buried where.))

Isabella pauses before she slides into the driver's side of the other car, it seeming something of a given that Raven's got shotgun on that vehicle. "Just so you guys know, the lady at The Vat seemed a little ticked that Raven and I wandered in there. She was bitching about Kindred coming in and bothering the customers." She actually doesn't seem too concerned with changing. Her clothes aren't frumpy, but they aren't head-turning, either. Still, she doesn't seem to mind that all that much. "And Eve, don't forget to get your car from Fletch's lot, aye?"

She seems curious about the werewolves, but is smart enough to not even consider pressing her luck. If they ran into one and it didn't try to kill them, great, but she wasn't going to go out of her way to satisfy curiosity.

"Anywhere special you want us to head, River, or just find somewhere to park?" she chuckles, waiting on any of the others to file into the car.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

"Huh, right. Clubs." Fletch growls a bit. "Bunch of underage girls in minimal clothing twitching like they have a seizure to music that can give you one. I'd rather head for a pub or something." He doesn't bother changing his clothes either. With his age he doesn't expect to get into a fancy disco anyway.

He pretty much takes the comment about werewolves in stride. Fuck, if vampires are real, what isn't?!

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

So the fairy tales were real! Fun stuff.... And how exactly did regular people know about it? Well, technically they did, they just didn't believe it. It is just too confusing.

"...Picking up some innocent person... isn't exactly my strong suit..." Rosary admitted, though quietly half-wanting people to hear half-not. After all, she wasn't the sociable type.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

Eve beams, "So my car, my baby is okay?" she sighed in relief, and then waited for further instruction.

Re: Chapter 1 - Introductions Are a Plus

Nnnggg. Rashar grunts out in response and settles down in Raven's car to wait.
