[D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

I believe she asked for that to be PM'd to her, Diaga...

Yes but I don't have a character sheet. Why send it in two parts Ryu? Wouldn't that make it harder upon her? And note, I'll send it to her once I have a character roughly made and have the knowledge that LDF is willing to host for a second party.

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

For questions regarding HP, max first, roll for the rest, I trust you all. (not really)

The main reason I want to figure out who knows how to play and who doesn't is so I can send people to help those who can't figure stuff out, or hold some group session on how to make a D&D character.

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

I'm going to put my rolls here because I'm paranoid I messed it up somehow.

Barb hit die=1d12, con modifier is +1
starting max=13
[1d12+1]->[6+1] = 7
[1d12+1]->[10+1] = 11
[1d12+2]->[11+2] = 13 (<= the con modifier changed here with the level 4 ability point)
[1d12+2]->[4+2] = 6
[1d12+2]->[8+2] = 10

13+7+11+13+6+10=60 hp

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

Looks good. Although if you really want, you may treat it as if you had 14 con for all your hit dices.

Same note for everyone in terms of int/con, up until this point, I will be allowing people to have skill points/HP as if they had their current int/con. This is only for character creation, please note.

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

I thought con was always supposed to be retroactive? Which is why con damage is always such a bother when you're down hitpoints, since it subtracts from them. The reverse is true if you get a spell/item that enhances con, making your current and max HP go up.

Depends on the con effects, some raise it, some don't.

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

I was always under the impression that any Constitution boost raised hit points. There's not much of a need for it otherwise, it only affects fortitude saves and the concentration skill, but just for clarifiction, the spell Bear's Endurance provides a temporary +4 boost to Con, will that boost a recipiant's hit points for its duration?

Also, rolled a dead average 12 (1,3,3,1,4) for my hit points bringing my total up to 24.

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

I know you're not going to believe me, but the dice roller I use on my comp gave me:
6
6
6
6
3

Can I keep those, or do you want me to go from the site people on here usually use for public dice rolling? I forget what it was called, but Jumpers used it for stats, so it shouldn't be hard to find.

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

You're thinking of invisible castle, Tas.

And according to the PHB, if your con modifier chances at any time, so do your hit points. But if Rem wants to house rule something different, totally up to her.

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

Right, well, I have just noticed this, and am officially stating my interest for that second party. I'm thinking either Scout or Ranger, using a bow and sneaky stuff :)

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

On a side note, this is still on, it's just that I'm still doing classes/finals, we'll probably start in a week or two.

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

Awesome. Also, any hints for favoured enemies? ;)

Re: [D&D 3.5]Campaign Interest

Done!

XD

EDIT: Also, theres a scout variant that replaces the fast movement with an increasing climb speed. I believe it's in Dungeonscape, and outside the usual books. May I please use it?
