I'm up to the point where you have to find the dogs who are scattered across the land. The last time I played was a couple weeks ago and I had just saved the bird boss's daughter from the demon couple.

Nothin' fancy though, just Prairie Wind for the BG. Had it as my BG forever, never bothered with anything else.

Also, that wallpaper looks like something done by UnknownSquid. He's still around (albeit not often due to shitty internet or somesuch), so if you ask him he might know something...

Yo. Me? That would be because that was the image that inspired me to look up and download Cave Story, followed by spontaneous fanart before I'd even finished the game. Though I based my pic on the official art packaged with the game, it does bear quite a resemblance. =)

Turns out I don't actually have that image in my small collection, though I do have this, which is almost the same. Not quite as good for desktop use, but close.
