You can access the EX dungeon through the good ending. Just go examine the crystals.

Dunno, but I think you're better off exchanging (? I'm not sure if that's possible) your eng version for jp and downloading @Lv1VillagerA's translation?

I mean i am using that translation patch and it says that it is V4.18, and it is likely i wont be able to exchange it. So that is a feels bad. I at least can do the Ex dungeons. I am still scared of doing the Genocide route..... and somewhat scared of doing the neutral route

This shouldn't be true, I've bought the game on English DLSite and you can always download the latest version there (currently v6.03). Redownload the new version, and copy over your Save folder and PublicData.rvdata2, and everything should be good.
V4.18 is almost 11 months out of date, so I wonder how you would have gotten that version.... ;3

Kill it with fire.
So I have decided not to go genocide route due to me working pretty hard to get all of their friendship high one my first play through of the game when i went for 100% friendship with all. Am i missing much from the Genocide route? same goes for the Neutral route? I am missing 5% of the book and i am guessing that comes from the genocide route and neutral route. I do have a separate copy of the game just in case you guys say it is worth doing it the other 2 routes.

?? Wait, have you not seen the latest patch thread? There should be a link in my signature to the new patch thread, which has a lot more updated patches that hand translate up to and including Chapter 2-3, and machine translate up to and including EX1.

To get what your actual Game Version is, look in your game folder for the two text files with JP names.
Both of them should have the *game* version listed on the top. If you've been using any of the latest patches I've been putting out, they should also have the patch version as well as the minimum game version they support on the front screen, like this:
I'd make sure you have the latest patch I've been giving out from my thread, first.
Lv1Villager has been AWOL, so I've taken over the translation project. It looks like he's still on a patch from when Lv1Villager was around, which is fairly out of date by now.

Also, you may want to marry each girl to see their extended ending.
Your guess is wrong - all the book (96% for the current version, the game is still incomplete, technically) can be unlocked by clearing True Mercy route alone.
There is no need - for now all but one route-specific content locks are reversible. To be honest, it makes objective sense on your first playthrough if you don't understand japanese. Without any real context, you're just a guy who woke up gets attacked by monsters and has to defend yourself. It's either you or them and they take your soul if they win. The game also overplays Kazuya's personality as a villain in Genocide imo. Genocide Kazuya is a completely reasonable person, until he goes apeshit for no reason.
If you dig in to the lore a bit, you find out that since you have magic powers you can't go to heaven or hell which is why you can revive yourself after every death.
So yeah, the monsters take your soul if they make you cum, and in my book that kinda makes them bad. The only ones I'd call "good" are the ones who really don't have any intention of hurting you. Haru, Barghest, and Mother Rabbit. Some of the monsters are unambiguously evil since they EAT people. "The Vore" monsters. Writing wise I don't understand why you'd try to turn these characters into allies but oh well. Gotta get that true mercy.
I feel like the other monsters were written to be "good" after the fact. Like Nina was a straight up villain who electrocuted a helicopter, and killed a pilot. She would also take your soul if she got you, but she's supposed to be forgiven because she used to be sick and just wants to be an idol?
In my eyes, Neutral's the canon ending.
Yea i would say Neutral (still don't know why he would friend Archeny or Titanboa) is the canon ending, Lucy, i felt extremely bad for Barghest. I think the story changes if your going from TM to Genocide. especially that barghest and lampus scene..... And i deleted that copy of the game after the Lucy fight. She looked p cool with the Aura.
