Re: Hate Thread

I hate how Dragon Age Origins is basically World of Warcraft with a story.

Re: Hate Thread

I have problems with both sets of fans, but because I'm from North Jersey but currently in South Jersey, I'm having a serious problem with the Philly fans around here.

Re: Hate Thread

The only reason we get bad rap is being downwind of New York.

I'm sorry but Jersey's just an awesome state to grow up in.

Re: Hate Thread

To be fair, we're one of the best states in way of education, and have a number of ranked whatever they hell they're called, where rich people say "this is a great neighborhood to live" like in Forbes magazine and shit. Also job market is usually pretty open here. I'd want to raise a kid in Jersey and don't know why someone else wouldn't

Re: Hate Thread

I live so far south you have to go north to be in "The South". We have two seasons here: Summer and December.

I have only ever heard bad things about New Jersey, most of them seemingly baseless and hyperbolic to the point where I can only assume it's intended as humor. Perhaps it is a vast conspiracy for the New Jersians to keep their unspoiled state to themselves?

Re: Hate Thread

Oh well, no South Jersey sucks.

North Jersey is where it's at. All the crime and shitty parts are in the south, but it's also where the "nature" is.

Basically it was like someone asked "Ok, we have all this great nature and woodlands, but it's kind of expensive." Then south Jersey said "Oh we'll take that" And the seller went "All right, but you also get Camden*" So North Jersey said "Oh fuck that, give me suburbs"

I think it was something like, in the top 100 high schools, Jersey has the most, or something like that, plus numerous colleges.

*Based on statistics reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Camden was the third-most dangerous city in the United States during 2002, and has been ranked the nation's most dangerous city in 2004 and 2005. "Most dangerous city" is based on crime statistics in six categories: murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and auto theft.*

Camden's violent crime rate is 2222.4 per 100,000 people in 2007. My hometown for that year? 0

Very yes. I grew up in North Jersey. The school district there was INCREDIBLE. The teachers were amazing and the education curriculum fitted so much education in.

Re: Hate Thread

Compared to the rest of the nation, NJ high schools have amazingly high rates of students moving on to college, especially "top" colleges

Re: Hate Thread

I hate how people don't listen sometimes, or just ignore things when it's convenient for them.

Me: 'Doctor, this is the case, and it's been like that for more then a year'
Doctor: 'You know, I think it's because of that thing that you mentioned you started yesterday.'
Me: 'That doesn't make sense to me, how would that be related?'
Doctor: 'Some things just are related.'
Me: 'That's not what I asked, I asked how something I started very recently has an effect on something that's been happening for over a year.'
Doctor: 'You just try changing that, really, it works.'
Me: 'Even if it works, it still doesn't fix the source of the problem, what do you think is the source?'
Doctor: 'That thing you started yesterday probably caused it all.'

This is his second attempt, his first idea ranks in between an official advice of putting peanut butter in between your toes and wearing gloves on a hot day, and unsurprisingly, didn't work at all.

Is this people in general or just doctors?
