Ordered some dice. Not really knowing how big the d6 are supposed to be, I ordered them a size too small. Have to order more. (Ordered 12 mm instead of 16 mm)

Did you get crack dice, Rule? Personally, d6s are d6s unless they're the itty bitty ones. Then, that's just me and I may have a problem with my dice collection.

Today is a sad day; one of our rescued cats/cats that had a home but was not-homed, Mothercat/Sweetiepie (fantastic names I know) was put to sleep today, vet came to the conclusion that she had somehow ingested anti-freeze chemicals days ago, so I guess you could say we at least gave her a more peaceful ending then curling up and dying alone.

X-rays suggested, apparently, she had two shotgun pellets embedded in her, old injury from years ago one can imagine.

Doesn't exactly help staying off the background despondent-moods. To clarify however, we've several rescued or otherwise homeless/un-re-home-able-able cats, and 'Sweetiepie' partly lived in the back garden with 4 of her grown-up kittens, so wasn't as close to us as our two two 'original' beasties.

Still... Bollocks.

I can understand your pain. I had to put down my royal princess on the 28th of November. She was losing fur and aging very suddenly. She knew for a long time she was on her way out, hiding in the dark and staying in weird places, but my brother was stubborn about it and honestly, I didn't want to see her go. :(

It finally got bad before I decided to walk in the overcast cloudy weather, getting sprinkled on, with a towel over her cat carrier as I had to move it on foot, just so she could be at peace. Sometimes it is just humane to pull the plug. :(

They weren't really teensy tiny, but their size didn't match the d20s I got. I wanted to have them in a set. Besides, I already have a brick full of d6 for Shadowrun.

Bah. Sorry to hear that, Tear. Part of me wants to say to keep an eye on the other cats, too, since there can be some real assholes out there (in that she got into antifreeze) but hoping it was just an unfortunate incident. And you're right, at least she had her humes with her who cared about her. *hugs*

No, translator Jim, keeping the "fufufu" some chick says, or whatever sound it is, in kanji does not make you a savvy weeabo, it makes you a shit translator.

My damned dryer is past the warranty and it freaking burned out. Not sure what the hell happened but one of the three connectors on the three-prong power cord is extra-crispy. And since my apartment management can't seem to take care of business over here... I'm without a drying machine, as are all of my neighbors (since they all used mine when the apartment's dryer died, and I was cool with it because only four people total including myself).

So now I have no dryer and no dryer access. :/
