the mods/admins have had to close no less than four topics specifically due to him trash-talking me, the people i work with, and the games i work on because he believes we're all some master scammers using bernie madoff tactics, his words, not mine lol, and then me defending myself pretty much derails the topic etc.
he also nonstop trash talks patreon, anyone who uses it, anyone who makes stuff using it, etc. claiming it will "be the downfall of humanity"
how he's not banned already is a mindfuck to me, any other forum he would be IP banned for his behavior on the h-games board

I'm still waiting for the ONE person who will always come to defend even the worst kind of human being.
I don't really read all of the goings on. I generally just look at new threads that pop up to see if the game is any good. If the gameplay is ass then I look to see where I can just get the porn without having to suffer through the 'chore' of gameplay just to get what I want.

I'd say a ban isn't really a great idea, sets a bad precedent and all that
Maybe a good idea to tell him to make a new thread for a topic when it gets to derailing a different thread though, or just have administrative staff step in to end a discussion/move it if things get out of hand

Speaking of, I have no idea why they're here, or what kind of point they're trying to make considering this thread didn't require nor want freeko's presence at all ironically, considering the name. I thought they were an alt of freeko's, but I've reason to believe that's not true.

Well, thus far we've got four votes against the ban and twelve votes for the ban. I'm not sure exactly who voted "aye" (I was the first), but I've got a pretty good idea of who voted "nay" so far.
Tassadar voted nay on principle, as I understand it, because he was concerned that we were working to ban someone on the sole purpose of his red rep bar. I agree with the principle, but the administration wouldn't even consider banning someone on that basis alone. Freeko's got a long record of being an abrasive asshole.
Freeko and fagballs voted nay in Freeko's defense. I'd offer reasons but they don't exactly seem like reasonable types (except in their own imaginations, I'm sure).
XSI voted nay on principle as well, suggesting that this was a dangerous precedent. Again, I agree with him in principle. Banning is a decision that should ultimately fall to the administration.

Personally I could not care less as I have not run into him ever since he got banned from the shoutbox ages ago.
If he has actually broken forum rules, ban him. Last I checked trolling was never a bannable offense around here given our resident trolls of old that no longer come here.

Sometimes, things still need to be said and discussed, even if it might feed someone's ego. And just because a punishment might be circumvented there's no reason not to use it. Letting things lie because they aren't perfect won't solve anything.

Nor have I ever said anything bad toward hope aside from basically taking his preconceived notions and dumping them on his own head. So this is clearly a joke in bad taste by hope that has been little more than to fuel his own one sided grudge against me.
The basis of his reasoning basically revolves around him thinking negatively about me. He makes claims, but has no way to substantiate them. I could say that it is hope that should be punished for making such an obvious attack upon me for little reason other than he feels like it. So according to hope, just start banning off everyone he doesnt get along with I guess right? See here is the thing, hope is using the threat of force (banning me) to obtain a result.
Were this an actual court case, it would already have been thrown out as I would expose the bias and simple lack of real evidence. I would even probably go so far as to look at remedies for prosecutorial misconduct as well.
