Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

I thought your character didn't like guns Rule?

Why do you think he has to dig it out?
EDIT: You are completely right though, and that'd be a major lapse in the character. *backpedals and goes to edit*

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Well judging from the game description in the book, political intrigue is a large part of the game.

I'm aware... but me trying to be Gangrel, or at least my interpretation of one = not giving a damn about ze politics.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

That would be Gangrel. Good Sinful! Do the clan proud!

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Hehe, Gangrel is my favourite, River is my longest running RL character. A couple of the players seem to have a grudge against me, and delight in killing off my carefully thought out characters, but River's too tough for them to handle, I sent them running every time :3

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Reminds me of Kyle, Copper's cotiere-mate. Damn hard to take that man down. And, as DULMF is an indication, Gangrel are my faves too. Started out liking the Tremere but Copper's sort of become a second half to me and is also my longest running character in a WW game.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Alright, number one, you've gone and switched the names around again Copper ;)

Number two, my first real experience, funnily enough, was playing Vincent's sire XD we had this fun thing going on where I acted like his floozy of a 'doesn't-deserve-to-be-Tremere' childe, and ended up catching everyone with their pants down multiple times :3

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Swear I have no idea why I keep doing that. *shakes head* Fix'd, at any rate.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Well, they rhyme, are both nature-related, and are both female Gangrel, played by other people. I can see where a spot of confusion might pop up ;)

In other news, do we actually want to stop by every house, or would a 'after everybody goes to their house and gets what they need...' Post be better?

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

I'm thinking the second option honestly. >.>;;

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Me as well, just cause there really isn't any dramatics in housecalls for spare clothing, ya know? ;)

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Yeah second option unless you planned on Seth, Oggly, and Mist to be sitting playing poker at someone's house while they wait for one of us to return.

So is this before or after the Gangrel left the Camarilla. I'm opposite I think the Gangrel sound boring, but that's because they remind me of werewolves which I also find boring. To each their own however.

Finally since the antediluvians are usually refered to by the clan name, except for Ennoia, AKA Ventrue, Brujah, etc. How do vampires tell when you're talking about the antediluvian and not the clan or vice-versa.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Second option... although do add something extra about Luna carrying a relatively oversized case on her back...

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Yeah, might as well point this out now. You're planning on packing all your illegal weaponry with you into a communal setting with people who aren't supposed to know all that junk exists, because you're worried someone might find it in your house?

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Especially since one is a police officer.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

One, oversized case =/= instant indication of heavy arms, especially if the others just believe Luna to be a harmless nut. (In fact, that reinforces the image of her being an eccentric who perhaps packed a heck lot of gothic clothes, occult riff raff, etc.)

Two, on the other hand, if someone poked their noses in and found military grade weaponry, and other black market goods... that'd take alot of explaining. The knives and spare katana could possibly be passed off as collector items, and perhaps even the spare revolver provided no ammunition is found for it. But flashbangs, explosives, sniper rifles, and illegal chemicals?... That's a whole different story.

Third, back up equipment is always good... Given that she'll be away from her home for a few days... best to have a few spare sets around in case the ones she's currently armed with become defunct.

Lastly: On that note, in the worst case scenario she is discovered (she plans to keep to herself for the most part for the next few days, but one never knows...), she isn't beyond starting a fight with people who have a problem over the fact that she likes "collecting things".

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

I wonder how much glitter and glow stick goo Rashar can bring with him from his house.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

*facepalm*

ugh, what did I get myself into... o_o

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

... What happens if Rashar makes to warehouse into a giant 'holy' object to channel his faith through?

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

He gets punched in the face repeatedly by my character while the others hold him down.
