I definitely had my money out for when Mystic Girl was announced to have a "buy" version of it. I'd pay ten to twenty for it.

You know, that sort of thing was actually one of the things that turned me OFF of C&C 3. I gave it a try at a co-worker's recommendation and the game play wasn't bad (not great, but not bad) but they just had to have your mission briefings coming from a very...fake...looking woman.

Summarization of first post:

"We might be in trouble, Toonpimp's respect level is dropping." <--------- I am hoping this is just sarcasm, otherwise I will proceed to fall off my chair and laugh my ass off. Lulz, internet respect levelz is dropping, we're doomed!

It doesn't really belong here, but I'll risk the wrath of Nunu since it was mentioned a couple times, thus is somewhat relevant ;)

The Dark Conception revision is still in its, eh, conceptual phase :D
Like other game designers, I have a lot of ideas - the challenge is fitting in as much as possible and then deciding what's good enough and what needs to get cut. I might be up for starting a game based in the same setting using the new World of Darkness rules, which I mentioned in the last forum. That would work pretty well with a few slight additions to the rules. We'll see if I have enough energy to get it started after I begin my new job.

i respect that you might not have it in you to actually run the game, just i liked where those rules you made before we're heading. i doubt i'd actually play it but i read a lot of rule systems and yours was to them like demon girl is to h-games. instead of just inserting bits and pieces into the game or strapping a veneer of taboo over it to placate people you took the fetishes and made a game that had them as an actual crux of gameplay. if you know what i mean.

thats kind of on topic...

And really, it's not so much the game we're discussing as the attitude of TP about the whole situation. Personally, I don't have (much of) a problem with the games, but the ego, therein lies the problem.

Which is my main point. An overinflated ego. I actually laughed fairly hard at the posts afterwords. Meh, either way I find it hilarious. Most of them seemed reasonable enough about it, TP overacted a bit about his work being criticized. (It is not like I called him out on his own forums, I just brought up my thoughts about a hentai/furry artist in a hentai forum.) And the normal circus of fanboys came about to display their support for their beloved. Even taking time to pull some quotes from my first post and giving their two cents. (which I somehow see as a challenge of sorts.) Either way, I spoke my mind, stirred up the hive, and all I say is... HA!
