Double Post I know. Still...

Anyway, quick update, I am currently editing chapter 2 (I hadn't touched it for awhile because of life's little quirks), and hopefully it'll be sent back in soon enough.

Also had an idea to include pictures with each update, curious to see what people think of that.

there are some decent artists here, you could probably convince them to do some art for you.

If anyone is willing to do some art for the story that would be wonderful. Strictly volunteer, so no commissions but no crazy deadlines to meet. Just reply here or PM me if you are interested in doing some illustrations.

It doesn't matter how much you practice; you'll never be able to capture Oni's godliness in a picture :p

Sure Dark, I mean you are the original proprietor of Lurker Wars, and you'll know perfectly what fits into the universe.

I'm not selecting people though, anyone who wants to can put up some artwork.

I think I know what those aircraft are - the one that Siphon hopped into; I think it's a Harrier, or at least a derivation of one?

And I think you captured my character quite well - I do indeed believe 'Mother Fucker' would be my choice of words at that moment XD

Thank you Shrike, and if you must know, the picture for chapter 2 is from Resistance 2 for the PS3.

Kusanagi, glad you liked the way I represented your character, also the fighters that Siphon was using was mostly made up, I just took the hovering idea from the Harriers.

Huh, well in that case, I probably haven't seen them before, unless they showed up in the first two missions of the original, or on some trailer somewhere. They still fit quite well though ;)

Spectacular writing as expected, Sinful!

There's only one part I can fault:

Sweat beaded at his forehead, rolling down his faces and soaking into the collars of his pressed white shirts while the blips of computers and quiet cursing of the operators filled his ears.

The problem's in the plurals. (Sweat beaded at Hopeyouguess's forehead... rolled onto several of his faces and then into the collars of multiple shirts.) Just remove the 's' at the end of 'faces', 'collars' and 'shirts'. ...Unless, of course, Hope is some form of hive mind, in which case it's simply an example of good storytelling.

Also, you might want a comma after shirts.

Very nice, especially the charcter choices since they fit so perfectly with the way I picture those three peoples.
