alright, I have class in 45 minutes, and then right after class gets out I'm off to Atlanta.
I might be on tonight, might not. It all depends on whether the place I'm staying at has wifi or not.

"Ghost ride the whip" means to ride on the outside (ghost ride) of a car (whip). Near as I can tell, a MRAP would be some manner of military vehicle. Ghost Ride the Whip was also an almost popular rap song more famous for encouraging an incredibly stupid practice than any musical accomplishment.

I'm fairly certain the artist is Canadian and thus, yes, that's where it's set, though without a few references, you wouldn't be able to tell. And it's entirely possible that they did make the vehicle up (the entire premise of the comic is the kid sitting there makes a faustian deal with a succubus who gets his soul if she gets him a prom date.) or he's just not using the correct term for it.

MRAP or Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle. From what I can tell (read: Wikipedia) it's a type of vehicle designed to be more resistant to IED attacks and ambushes. It appears to be a mostly United States thing.
