I get like that during winter if I don't take steps as soon as I feel a sore throat. it lasts until winter ends.
We're supposedly into summer and half the time I'm still not sure winter has ended. Half the time it's like "Fuck. Hot." and the other half it's cold and wet and miserable.
I mean, I know there's the phrase "Melbourne Weather"* and all, but this is ridiculous.
* When a day turns from any given weather to cold and raining, often within the same day.

I may have just gotten a job with the city's rival security company.
They said that I'd have to fill out another application and they'd need to pull my criminal record... but he said they're looking for a site in Statesboro and they'll know about it in the next week. So he said he'd give me a call as soon as he knew something, but he'd be working very hard to find me a spot to work.

Did he just hire me? Or did he say he wants to hire me and I'll have a job soon? I'M CONFUSED. But apparently lucky. Yay for closed doors directing me to open windows.

I am rather jealous of you Chibi to be honest. I've been trying to get into security, paying out the arse for my license, have been told that many of the supervisors in the various hospitals want to hire me due to the fact that I already have the license and have combat experience... but the recruiters for every, single, fucking company seem to hate me.
I want to take that girl who gave me that last interview out on nice date, with rich wine and candlelight... then randomly throw her over a dumpster and fuck her asshole with my fist and leave without saying "thanks for the fun". See how she likes getting fucked around Christmas.

I've had a similar thing, less with the recruiters hating me and more with the getting the rose coloured story about how I've got really good qualifications and I'll probably hear from them soon for the next stage of the process and never getting contacted, even to say I wasn't selected.
