Cirno's tomboyish (right there in her theme name and all), but I've nothing for Rin. The Gerudo in Zelda are a pretty recognizable example of characters that use Atai.

I didn't know about Gerudo, so no comment there :D

So I've cleared it... and honestly, didn't expect the heartfelt farewell, and that burial scene.

Not sure if I want to replay solely on the H version though.
 
Yeah the ending was really good, terrible villager sprites aside. I particularly liked Dran's final speech. Most antagonists like that usually either swear revenge or have some kind of sympathetic revelation, but she spent the whole scene calling people out. "It's no wonder even I can't win against you!"
 
Yeah, for what it's worth, I did enjoy the story. And my bad, I totally forgot the centipede can grab you, I just blanked on it cause I was thinking of the boss' fatality defeats on you.

No problem, it's actually a nice surprise :D

BTW, how do you get the final boss to kiss and burn you? All she does is grab and throw, or spitting out fire that sort of catches you in fire.
 
Should be getting grabbed on the last life. It might be dependent on Youki's HP.
 
Yeah, I mentioned it briefly in my spoiler tab. I think it should be when you're down to around 1/3 of your health. Some bosses have specific attack motions that lead into the grabs, however. Like with the wolf lamia, when she howls and charges at you, she'll begin the fatality defeat grab. I'm gonna say it's probably the same with the last boss, though I've only gotten it once, so I don't remember the specific motions she did. I also don't know if you can only be grabbed during a specific portion of the boss battle when... (not sure why I'm gonna put this in a spoiler, but better safe than sorry)
the minotaur girl (4th stage boss) and the demon hunter team up with you to fight the boss. No I don't remember their names, sorry. But I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. But yeah, before the last fight with the giant boss, there's like 4 other stages to the first one. The first where you can't win, the second where you team up with the minotaur girl, the third where you fight the boss again with her, and the last where the demon hunter helps you. So yeah, I haven't tested if all 4 scenes can proceed with the fatality defeat.
 
Thanks, maybe I need to try it again. Yesterday I was trying to win so all her grab that manages to hit me was when I'm still on many lives.

I'm letting it slide, because he's specifically asking about what Sukebei is (even if that last sentence is really pushing it).
 
Save file is located at C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\you-kichanGAME ENG\save\ for anyone wondering. Unfortunately I don't have one to save. Unless you want like, Level 2...

Edit: Just kidding, I unlocked them all for this awful, awful game.

No R-18 version in progress thread so I'll put it here in the meantime (does it need another thread?)
Apparently Nanakusado expressed interest in in-fighting between npcs for the R-18 version. Been following his ci-en page and he's pushing out plenty of animations. As much as I cant wait for the r-18 version I really hope that if he doesnt make the 3 month deadline he delays the game and does it right.
 
Well shit, that's getting me hyped for it again.
 
So wait does that mean we get more slime girl yuri animations? that would be nice.
 
Sounds like they are really going all out on the R-18 version. Apart from the constant upload of animations-progress on their ci-en, they also mentioned that anyone who bought the non hentai version will get a discount on the other version equal to the cost of the game.
Now, regarding the whole thread situation: Wouldn't it be better to just update the thread title and description to include the h-stuff when it releases instead of making a whole different thread? Seems like this one is only used for discussion of the upcoming H-version anyways.

I thought that was the plan (to just keep using this thread). The thread had the title 'no hentai version *out yet*" IIRC. Unless the R-18 version plays so differently from the base game I don't see why it wouldn't happen.
 
I think the need for a new thread for the R-18 version would be necessary when we are able to play a demo of it. Since they're both the same game, just one with more animations, I think it's safe to say it's okay to keep talking about it here til then.
 
I'd rather you guys keep it to one thread, unless it really does deviate from the original game so hard, that it warrants another one.
