In that case Nutakudevs should just save us the trouble and not bother with starting the event and give the canadians the event rewards instead. Save everyone the hassle because the event is foregone conclusion lol.

well this makes a huge difference if events are competitive. otherwise it doesn't matter. not like them having it a week earlier will mean we dont have a chance to get our event units (if the events are not competitive).

Not quite a foregone conclusion, but it'll definitely be more difficult, since the first two events are medal collection (akin to star trial in Aigis). The mantis on the second week map does not fuck around, even with a decent team you have to gamble around the spinners and its "reduce HP to ~1%" skill.

Same with Edelweiss event, but once you successfully 24-medal these it'll be smooth sailing from Yamayuri onward (well, the very last Yamayuri map will still wipe the floor with you, but it's a collection event so it doesn't really matter), provided that you do fairy maps religiously. That's why you should drop some of your flower stones on fairy maps, it'll make for a much easier time. Also, DMM's FKG did not have searches, daily quests or bonus stages back when they originally had the Lavender event, so these should provide you with bonus fairies/affection items as well.

Lastly, even if you don't get 24 medals, 20 is also fine since revival events always give you one extra slot/skill upgrade flower to max out previously unmaxed girls (you need 20 medals for slot 3/skill 4, and it should be fairly easy to do). You'll need to wait half a year for this, however.

Events aren't competitive. FKG is about the most friendly game on DMM for non-paying/infrequently paying players, and about half a year in they switched to a model where events don't even require a decently leveled team to get maxed characters. But until we get there, you'll have to contend with a couple Kancolle-tier RNG grinder maps that require both a very good team and very good luck.

Frankly, the best thing EN FKG can do to compensate non-Canadians is to lower the medal requirements a bit, so that you don't have to 3-medal the mantis/caterpillar hell that is E-8. You can give some ampules or something to "Canadians" who trivially get 24 medals.

And even without any changes, it'll just cost you a few flower stones to get up to par, if even that. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.

No. If they do it same way as DMM, you will always have plenty of stones and you don't need stones for events, so use them in whatever way you feel like.
May consider buying some space increases for girls and items, but with 1 stone = 5 slots its very small investment and you can just do it when you need more space.

So I started this game last night. I have close to enough for a 50-gem pull, but I've heard it's better to do single pulls instead? I only have one gold (from the guaranteed pull), a silver, and a bunch of bronze units. I'm in desperate need for something more powerful. Is it worth grinding out the last ten gems to go an 11-pull, or should I tempt fate now?
