"Well that doesn't seem like such a problem to me, it was just a few fighters, and you can block a Gate, right? The one I saw had a sheet of metal on the inside, and the records said that makes it impassable, right?" She says, curious as to why it was such a problem.

Daina manages a cocky smirk - something she'd doubtless picked up from humans during her lifetime..

Raising her forearm, the Asari spreads some kind of quick-sealing gel onto the wound, with a frown..
"Field medi-gel. It'll hold for now, and should act as a quick-relief painkiller.. but it's not a permanent fix. Here, let's get you up."
She slips an arm under his, and stands, slowly. The slim Asari's strength is surprising..

Ixack had been moving slowly around the area since the Bentari had been.......'killed'......And he was surprised at how casually they conversed in the midst of a battle "There are still Bentari out there. I can't differentiate them from other sentient life, so I will be of little use." he broadcasts to both Daina and Siphon

"We can block it sure, and the Hatak will already be tracking those fighters. The problem is, in order to dial a gate to another galaxy, you need a LOT of power. Like a Z.P.M, or using a black hole's energy. We don't HAVE that kind of technology, at least we didn't when I defected to join you folks. If they have it now, then they could start using it on their ships, which would make them significantly more powerful to deal with."

Now, as near as I could tell, the remaining six that were left are spread out. Two three decks below us, two more trapped by the engine rooms, and the last two were poking about the fighter bays when I lost the signal tracking of them."

Emerging in a cloak of exotic radiation which would quickly dissipate, is the large body of the Traveler, Nebula. *Hello? Veda just sighed inwardly, surprised at how much knowledge the greater portion of the galaxy took for granted. Z.P.Ms, Sangraal weapons, there was no mention of these in her logs, unless they were under different names. That was one major difference between most languages and that of the Chozo. There are almost no nouns in the Chozo tongue, people and places are differentiated by descriptions, only the most important people had titles, and even that had many meanings. Thinking back to Toryn and his Warden, Veda thought about how the Chozo that nursed her back to health could have been called the same thing, which also meant caretaker, guard, nd a slew of similar words when translated.
She decided not to ask, figuring it easier to let time provide the answers itself.

The 'head' of the Revenant Armor turned to look at Sivok. "If I may ask, what is the holding point on deployment of that Sangraal weapon?"
As Toryn said this, the head's 'eyes' turned red and started panning around again, stopping every now and then, as if studying things...Including the gate ring.

"You mean what's holding it up? The simple fact what it's designed to do is kill ascended beings is hard enough, but getting it to work and not kill friendlies... That's another issue. We're talking a weapon capable of wiping out ascended being within an ENTIRE Galaxy. As in the whole Galaxy all at once. Siphon's people are working on it now."

The armor in front of the drone is too massive, easily absorbing the assault fire. The back, on the other hand, is a system of ribs quite like a human's. The "heart", the brain core, can be seen glowing through it.
The drone itself whirrs in a shrill tone as it hits the Ingrali. Quickly it spins around towards the others and dashes at them.

Two of the Ingrali break formation, having seen the weak point they wanted. The other two simply seemed to charge at the creature's front side, trying to distract it.
The other two it probably thought it had killed reformed a few moments later off to one side, annoyed looks on their faces.

Thankfully, the smaller ships had already been dealt with, so the Jaffa didn't have to go back on that word, yet.

"The original idea was to fly it there using one of our ships, but now that they have gone and built a space gate we can use that. It will likely be powered by a micro-singularity or a black hole. Keep in mind too, Siphon has access to Z.P.M's, as does Talok."
