I just watched the two part British miniseries of Doctor Zhivago tonight and really liked it. It had a lot of happy moments, the romance and love triangle was pretty believable, and had a lot of interesting but sad historical events. I liked a few things like how fate seemed to creep up in interesting ways.

Don't expect to feel good after the ending though... unless you enjoy watching human suffering. I know its a tragedy and all, but sometimes I think these authors take some perverse glee in tormenting and playing with readers' and viewers' hearts. Sorta like putting yourself out there with the cutest, most innocent smile and getting smashed with a hammer. Anyway, I guess that's how life was like at the time, and the tragedies like to make everyone suffer. :p I definitely recommend it though if you don't mind being sad. Keira Knightley and Hans Matheson were both pretty delicious looking... minus the scenes where he looked like a caveman.

Anyway, a new trailer for Underworld: Awakening came out. It looks... interesting, and Selene is ravishing as usual.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation trailer. Starring The Rock, Bruce Willis and has a ninja battle on a mountain suspended by wire.

No matter how much money I throw at the computer screen, nothing happens.

Dark Knight Rises trailer. I can not wait for this movie.

Saw Alice's Resturant the other day. It was surprisingly good. While it wasn't exactly Easy Rider, it still provided a window into the 1960s. And it had Arlo, which is always good.

One thing confused the fuck out of me though; it kept switching from light-hearted comedy to super serious shit. I couldn't really get a general atmosphere from the thing.

Just saw Wake Wood, which was surprisingly good. If you like horror, I recommend giving it a shot. It's a low budget film, but not extremely low budget and the acting is actually fairly good. Particularly from the little girl that the plot revolves around.

Saw the newest Mission impossible movie. Nothing impressive or new really IMHO, but if you take it for what it is, a B action movie with the budget of an A movie, you might like it.

Petty much, but I can't fault them. I couldn't come up with an original action move.

I actually really liked Real Steel. Sure it could have used a couple more full robot fight scenes, and it was pretty cheesy, but it was pretty much the only good family friendly movie I saw.

Yes, but it wasn't MADE in 2011, thus it doesn't actually count. It was only refurbished for Blu-Ray.

I heard Game of Shadows was supposed to be good. Haven't seen it yet though. X-men first Class was good if you have no knowledge of the timelines they screwed up XD Deathly Hallows part 2 was good, Super 8 was fantastic, the 4th Pirates movie was pretty good, Rango was AWESOME, and I heard that Sucker Punch was good, though not my kind of movie.
