Seriously, why do people think it's a pun to say "punny"?

And if you're trying to argue that it's still a play on words, refer to number 1.

Well, clearly you're no pun.

Afterall, a bad pun is it's own re-word.

But I guess my inferiority complex just isn't as good as yours.
