RPG Loli [鰯ya] フラワープリンセス エルル -痴漢車両・淫獄調教編ー (RJ248367)

I for one have been greatly appreciative of the translation work you have already put into the game, as acknowledged by the game author in the most recent readme file. It makes the game a lot more enjoyable than fumbling around with a text hooked machine translation was previously.
Personally, I find that the vast majority of machine translations released as a patch/language option to be worse than running a text hooker, since with a machine translated patch installed, I can't see the original japanese to correct any obviously mistranslated or incorrect context lines, unless there's a quick method to change between the machine translation and the original japanese.
Is a machine translated patch/language option better than nothing? Perhaps in some cases, but I'd rather have a working and reliable text hooking method. Whatever I get through translation aggregator or ATLAS is more or less the same standard as most machine translation patches and I have the benefit of seeing the original japanese text immediately to better spot obvious mistranslations.
bobbob's statement about having the original japanese available to seems more applicable to the text hooker method of translation, since the original japanese is right there, as opposed to running with a machine translated patch. Unless bobbob is suggesting people run two instances of the game at once, one with and one without the machine translation patch active?
And in addition, for this game the author has gone to the effort, as of the latest version with the assistance of people such as Memory, to provide an editable csv file that contains all the text of the game and acts as a translation dictonary for the game which can be used to insert said translations into the game. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't do the same for the upcoming violence edition, so if anyone really wants to play the game with machine translation inserted before a cleaned up human translation is made, they can run the contents of the csv file through a machine translator and put the result into the provided folder to be inserted into the game automatically.
Personally I hope Memory and others continue to work on the molestation edition and in the future the violence edition.

I'm not understanding why people are ragequitting over this issue.

Does no one understand that you can have both a MTL AND a complete translation, in tandem?

It's like as if having one completely invalidates the other, which is not the case. A MTL is a great interim measure, but not a permanent solution. It requires relatively little effort and provides non-moonrune speakers the opportunity to intepret the story in some meaningful way, as opposed to not interpreting it at all.

On the other hand, a full translation will always be appreciated (and preferred) for anyone who wants a more complete interpretation of the story, at the cost of it taking more time (and effort) to complete.

Many of the games on here have had translation releases MTL → Partial → Full (plus or minus a step).

Why is this suddenly unacceptable?

I greatly appreciate Memory's work, this game is excellent and deserves more than just being put through an MTL blender, the developer is very passionate about this game also so I doubt they would want anything less than a proper translation of it.

MTL are hit and miss, sometimes they work ok enough to understand what is going on depending on the dialect the game was written in but often they are just a complete mess, especially when you get people doing them with translator++ automation and old pirated versions of LEC/ATLAS that are way behind modern machine translation services.

I wholeheartedly agree with what AdvancedDownloadManager has said.
'Twas my point.
And yeah i tought i was defending the dude from a bully, but turns out i was the bully myself.

Edit: Just read the post where you asked for more volunteers, @Memory , and i remembered something.

I stumbled once upon this weird looking github-like page or something about a fan translation project of a ps2 game where all the text laid there and people could contribute ala googledrive online word/documents.
That would be an awesome idea for h-games.... as they don't have that many text... god if i could find that site for you guys to see what i am talkint about...

Edit2: It was bitbucket, a repository, but how it works is beyond me right now.

A few notes on this. I imagine quite a few english would-be game buyers will not go through a text hooker set up, or a translation set up. Despite me being a programmer, I have not cared to look at the manner in which the dialog is stored, nor have I attempted to do any text hooking in quite some time. My suggestion about having an MTL english version is in the context of the game having a Jap/Eng switch option within the game, which led to my assumption that both Jap and Eng dialog is stored, and can be referred to for anyone intent on getting better translation (either by doing the switch in game using the option or looking at the files). That is what I was referring to, but yes, a text hooker would be easier for doing comparisons for those willing to set that up (which is a subset of would-be buyers).

I tried to be sensitive to @Memory 's work by suggesting the MTL be applied to the upcoming violence edition (and not the partially translated Molester Edition), but he still exploded...

My concept is something that applies to all games. You will get more english buyers with a MTL game than you will with an non-translated game. As it stands, with most games being untranslated, you get much fewer english buyers, and many would-be english buyers just get pirated MTL versions of games. I'm not particularly fond of buying a Jap RPG and then using a translation program to translate the interface and such, hoping it doesn't end up breaking the game because the dev relied on translated items as keys in logic.

As for all the "MTL is garbage" posts, google translate is fairly good, and it has an API that allows you to do mass translations.

I'm trying to get the restraint scene, but for some reason, they won't go past stripping her underwear. I've already got to wearing no underwear on the train, and the platform event, but they still won't strip her to get the night event. If someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong, that would be wonderful.

IIRC, it happens when it's pollution 4 and the delinquent and the reggae man are together and cause her to pass out. Should be a restraint option in addition to the usual stolen clothing, and the more you use it, the more restraint options open up. I haven't done it, but then I suspect you just have to finish clearing the train while restrained.

Edit: If you are fully restrained with your legs in the air, it won't let you progress, even at zero pollution. Not sure how far you can be restrained, but behind the back still allows an ending. Also, interestingly enough, if you're fully restrained and pollution drops to zero, any encounters with delinquent have him show up completely naked, although nothing else of note happens from it.

So I've been gone for what, 3 weeks? And there doesn't seem to be any progress whatsoever? No updates on this thread at all? What happened to that MTL everyone wanted so much to be implemented? I was actually looking forward to it in my absence.
So where is that MTL you were swooning about, @bobbob ?
Where is it???
WHERE IS IT?!?!?!?!!

The Elulu dev is asking when would be a good time to update the Molester Edition with a new version on DLsite. I'm not capable of providing an answer, so I'll ask all of you instead.

What would be a good time to update the game on DLsite for the English audience?

Im thinking somewhere in the middle of ether October or November. depending on how much there is to translate that is. but I would also be fine somewhere in 2021 as well.

A week before Halloween or a week before Christmas.

so, i hope no one minds asking me this but.
1) is there only bad end? (ie, getting dunked on by the big fungus aniki?)
2) since i bum rushed to the end by 8th day-ish, what are some other events i might have missed? (i have gotten till curfew extended to last train for now.) like any other skills besides the three you get for attack defense escape and the wait one.
3).... uh.... yeah... that's about it.
4) this one is cause i like even numbers.

There's a good ending and a bad ending. I think I remember someone saying there are some slight variations to the bad ending, but I don't know Japanese and haven't seen the english translation so I don't know the specifics there. To get the good ending she needs to be wearing her clothes, and you need to have kept her stats low enough (below 400, IIRC).

There are four major events that I recall. At 100 during battle against the Salaryman, she orgasms for the first time -- there are a few small variations in dialogue throughout the game depending on whether you let her look up what an orgasm is. At 400 the Salaryman gets caught molesting her, and to avoid going to the police she says they're lovers. Afterward, since she now has a reputation as a pervert, there's an event where she's molested outside the train as punishment for holding down her skirt while not wearing panties -- once this is done, she gets molested every time the train lifts her skirt. Afterward if she's kicked off the last train without her clothes, then there's a scene where she gets aggressively molested in front of everyone.

If you get the latest version of the debug mod from the developer's ci-en (ci-en basically being dlsite's version of patreon) then there are a few more things. The "Special" skill button shows up in every battle, which immediately wins the fight if you use it. An alternate route is available during the 400 event, in which the Salaryman is arrested and loses his job. There's a followup sequence of events in which the former Salaryman blackmails Elulu, molesting her outside her home, removing her ability to defend herself (even disabling the Protect button during battle), and forcing her to pretend to enjoy being molested.

Im hoping the Dlsite version gets updated to include all of that content, been waiting a long time after buying it on release to get its finalized content he kept working on before the next game.

The NEET route isn't finished yet. Once the dev gets the Violence Edition up and running, he might go back to it.
(I hope he goes back to it. I love that route)

ok. so i've seen those two (below 400 and above too) plus the one with restrained and naked against the boss. guessing those 3 are the only three major endings.

does this happens if she leaves the train with no panties or if she enters the train and the wind blows her skirt? (cause if the second one then how do you start the day without panties.)
Afterward if she's kicked off the last train without her clothes, then there's a scene where she gets aggressively molested in front of everyone
wait. that doesnt happen for me. she just gets called a slut in mine. does the previous mentioned event needs to take place before that?

is that what the heart skill in the store page sample image is? (the version 1.497 image) or the skill above it ( since i dont have either of those skills.)

woah. that sounds like a neat event.... minus the whole 'it getting rid of the easiest way to lose health bit.'

I think she specifically has to leave the house without underwear. She owns a finite amount of underwear, so once you get her panties stolen enough times (I think 10) she asks a maid to buy more. Then if you get them all stolen again, then she doesn't bother getting new underwear unless you press a button for it. (You can similarly get all of her bras stolen, but as far as I know that's not necessary for any events.)

Yes, I believe so.

I'm not seeing that image in the store, but the heart skill (Love) is something else that I don't think has been implemented.

You can currently only go down that route if you have the debug mod, and the debug mod allows you to edit most of Elulu's stats including her current & max health.

oh. i was wondering how that didnt happened. makes me wonder why there is no event for getting her blouse and skirt stolen 10 times.

so it's a debug mod addition?

man.... i kinda hope that the dev eventually adds some kind of cheat into the game (without debug) for beating it once. at least to edit the health and such stats.

Aw man, i read articles on it and was really interested. Sad news indeed. Guess I will just get the most updated dlsite version when the violence edition comes out and play through both in orderl
