JSK工房 Hgames Translation Thread


I know Russian and English pretty well so I can give the translation a good try, I don't have any coding/programming skills tho so best I can do is create a notepad and try to translation all the section to the best of my abilities for someone to copy over.

Donocad and I have been working on a text parser for JSK games that would make your translation efforts easier. You can find the text parser as well as instructions on how to use it in the JSK Games translator tools MEGA repository. JSK games can be located in the JSK games MEGA repository. You can find links to both of these in the downloads section of the Community

Alright so here's the good news, the Russian translation is of high quality, I didn't seem to find any missing lines/text and they make sense encounter/story wise so there's no "fake/made up" lines and are probably direct translation from JSK's jp version, ill start compiling direct translation from Russian to English lines and see how that goes, will update on my progress later today.

Man sorry if this has been asked many times, haven't been in this thread for a good while but from the new games which have been translated (or in progress)

They all have a partial English translation. Check the downloads section listed in the Community JSK guide that is in my signature.
 
I managed to translate some of it but there's still a lot of work to be done, I'm getting lots of help from Delexicus and Donocad with the tools needed to get the work done, now with the technical aspect out of the way it's just a matter of time until I get it translated, sadly there's a lot of unique and copy/pasted clone dialogue in the game so it takes a lot of time to check and translate every line, but at least most of the lines won't look like some Google bot tried to make sense of it, so when it does get translated it won't feel robotic or look like completely broken English.

if however there are other Russian speakers out there who believe they can help with the Russian to English translation, please let me know.

I'll have to agree there, Delexicus. Overthrow Is still my hands down favorite JSK game in that era before he came out of hiatus.

Ya, I get that, but where is it uploaded? The google doc is just a doc of all the changes and stuff....Is there an updated version of the game anywhere? Or just the document?

Alright so I download the shoplifting girl from the mega hub...and it has translation notes or something in the folder, but the game UI is still in Japanese (text box is english my bad)
Is this intentional?
 
The translation is incomplete. We are trying to recruit some volunteers to have another go at the translation.

Just making sure, since the old partial has (poorly) translated the menus to an extent

There is a reason the menus were not translated in the latest translation. The game was updated on DLsite to include a few new features such as breast licking in the Desk scene. The translation however was made on the initial game release version. The translation of Mika was transferred to the new version using Donocad's text parser. Unfortunately the text parser does not work on translated shapes, like the main menu. That would need to be either copied over from the old version with FFDEC or remade entirely. I could do many of these things, but my time is currently being spent figuring out an automated sfx text replacer.
 
I finished translating both .txt files in g_fera and have uploaded another zip to my folder

I might continue some more today but i'm not sure, i'm pretty tired after this one, it had an absurd amount of different moans that I had to translate over and over, I wish I had a bot for translating the moans for such occasions because it's just 1 or 2 different letters.

I'm planning on using your hard work to make just such a bot. Unfortunately the moans have to be translated manually once before a bot can learn a specific moan. So take heart, your sacrifice will not be in vain.
