I like the changes this has compared to its last demo. Feels more like Parade Buster, and Parade Buster was such a spot-on title.
 
I have to say the new trial definitely feels a lot more better.
The first version just had too many gimmicks that just didn't work out. Especially the screenscrolling was a huge, pointless hassle.
But glad it steered in a more straight-forward direction.

Can Anyone upload the new trial version here.....?
Y'know I figured I'll make it extra clear that new trial barely requires anything to avoid beggars like this. And here we are. *sigh*
 
there always be people like that once the final trial is done unless this is the final trial they may make a dlsite page for the game soon and you be able to get the trial that way as well
 
Cool! That must mean they wiped out most of the bugs, and we can try the real trial now :LOL:

Haven't seen it specifically mentioned here so far, so Ima write it down. The exact release date is 5 weeks from now on the 21st of june 2021.



The custom event function or "original event" function is all I wanted it to be. You can basically combine the things that are in the game, such as effects, animations, characters, backgrounds, and text appearing, chain them together and therefore create your own custom events, including battles and h-scenes. You can choose any characters or bosses for such events, even choose from customized groups you have created before if you want the group of enemies to look a certain way, like have them all be small or of a certain skin color. You can include them in the main story, not entirely sure if they are to replace the normal events or just supposed to be added extra flavor events on top of the ones made by the creator, who described his writing as a weakness of his games in this post.

An event that was created will be put in the edit sub area with its own name and saved, it can be copy pasted, meaning people can indeed trade their custom events with each other online, for which he seems to be looking for some suitable site players could use as a platform to create a big database or wiki. The problem is that the text that will have to be copy pasted will likely be massive, and everyone needs to be allowed to post there, ruling out quite a few sites. He encourages players to trade their event texts with each other as long as that is the only thing they are trading, obviously trading the game itself is not a thought he is fond of.

For me this is definitely the best addition to any game he made so far, as his scenes vary greatly in length, quality and tone, or sometimes just don't fit the animations too well. Since it should also be easy to edit the music in the game folder, there is a lot of room to switch things up and customize it to your liking, and of course get a lot of extra mileage out of the game in the end. Definitely something I am looking forward to using once I played through the game like it was intended.
 
that nice so that means people can create group scenes which i enjoy alot, having your fav enemies take turns as a custom lose scene is great, i did enjoy the custom group events people made for MGQ hope there be some for this game also

Yeah group scenes are doable, the example scene was a group of farm girls, showing how to insert text and make it appear in a group h-scene with the girls.

From what I saw in the post you gotta direct everything though, which means write all the text and assign it to the right character, choose two characters to pile on you left and or right, decide on a background, and assign an activity to the character who interacts mainly with the protagonist during that point in the scene. The whole thing is structured via one long line of commands/events that go from linear from first to last command. You gotta know the commands for characters to switch activities (7 to choose from, foreplay, special, penetration, trample, character returns to normal, posing and one command I could not get any sensible translation for), and obviously switch a character out with someone else once her turn is over if you want a proper rape train or circle. Everything that happens, every text window, every effect, every position change, each will need one new command specifying whats happening, and making characters switch places could need several of those since you have to reassign at least 2 instead of 1, perhaps more depending on how you have planned that particular scene out.
A proper group scene with more than 3 people promises to be a bit tedious to create I guess, but technically one can write hour long sub plots containing build up if he wants to, fights and several h-scenes with characters he customized and named, perhaps even do more depending on how much can be customized in the game folder itself.

I will likely not take it that far, but I definitely have the urge to create some non fight related scenes like the Brothel scene in Parade Buster that play with fantasies a bit further, or some challenges for the protagonist with several possible outcomes, though obviously that all will depend on how managable it turns out to be in practice. Hopefully someone from the community suggests a decent side for the dev that can be used to up and download scenarios to see other peoples takes:D

As for the game itself, one of the previous posts said that everything should be done around now (around 10th may) and everything from here on out until release will just be bug fixes and minor stuff.
 
One-month-away-hype.

I really hope that the original events we can make works properly during launch, just slightly worried that the files might not read correctly because of japanese/english text.
Guess we'll see how it goes.
 
I hope that Excessm makes a confirm on that early June release date. If they make that announcement and say June 6 or 12 between that time I can take a day off and have 4 full days to binge the game.

4 days? This is a one-man indie game.
None of ExcessM's games are more than 5 hours long. It'll take 1 day max.

This isn't MGQ paradox or ROBF XD.

I doubt it will be that short, as this game seems to have plenty of side activities, and be somewhat grindy with the preperation stuff on higher difficulties. Pure gaming and reading time aside, this is a hentai game after all, which at least for me massively inflates the playtime because, ehm, after playing for a while and "enjoying" the game I kinda feel the need to... well, recharge for a while before continuing, as playing such a game in a "deflated" state feels like a waste to me. Dunno, maybe I am just weird in that regard, but unless it is something insanely addicting gameplay wise I will almost never play one long several hour marathon session, but rather several shorter sessions, and the time between sessions is reserved for other things.

As I have said before I am a completion freak XD. On Yume-same alone I've beaten the game 3 times including both dungeons and have a lvl150 character because the game would be way too easy even with NG+ 2 on hard with anything higher. Here is proof it's file 15.

I'm pretty worried; from what I read it sounds like they're going for an interactive gallery, more than a game. If the awful(ly easy) difficulty of previous games has gotten even worse - and the demo would suggest so - then I might start treating them like... other devs, who pull the game market down. If I have no game with my H why would I look into H-games to begin with? :unsure:

From what I remember the sub quest system is still in place, similar to how it was in the first demo, but it was streamlined in the later trials so the demo could focus on what comments from testers described as the biggest flaw to the point of killing many players hype for the game, which was the problems with the combat system itself. It makes sense, but now that you mention it I do think it is kinda weird that the end version of the demo is missing these features completely. I can't remember him saying anywhere that things like sub quests, side quests, preperations, infiltrations and the like are supposed to be completely gone, it would not make any sense for him to do that either after he spent so much time implementing them, especially not since his main reason to switch to Unity was so he could do things like that, but I can't guarantee it at this point.

The DlSite demo basically has no map, just a "next fight" gallery type of thing to experience the boss battle, which I highly doubt will be what the finalized game looks like, because that would indeed just be a less polished version of Parade Buster when it comes to storytelling and side activities, perhaps even less than that with the weapon system being limited to 3 basic weapons. The fact that he went into so much detail with the custom quest also, at least in my opinion, hints at the existence of side quests that are not main quests, especially since he commented on the possibility to implement self made quests/events into the story to replace existing ones.

I am not about to go look through several hundred kanji sentences divided over dozens of updates in search for a definitive answer at this point, as the release is just one month away and I already went through the hassle of getting the points to buy the game anyway, even if it being like this would be a big letdown. I just have to assume that he has the common sense to not make the final game as bland as the trial by taking out all the features that would make the game interesting and fitting to play. The MC is a shrewd ninja after all, not a brute who just walks in and challenges everyone to an instant big fight like it happens in the demo.

Edit: The room map can still be seen in the games preview video from DLSite, none of the other features though. Let's hope the dev just thought that showing off as many titties as possible was more important.
