Exagerated girlish squeals!!!

Its being released!

I've been waiting for Square-Enix to release information on there little "Shadow" project

A continuation of the Parasite Eve series dubbed "The 3'rd Birthday"

After years of waiting they finally released it in Japan and... Austria? on Dec. 22nd.

Nunu's can look for it around February...

Mer... A kangaroo will be playing it before me...

And USA and Europe still have to wait... 1st Quarter 2011

Well... At least it wasn't another Too Human 2...

The 3rd birthday you say? I saw that over at Emuparadise. I wasnt sure if it was worth it, but from your excited giggles, it may have something i might enjoy.

One person's excited giggles does not a good game make.

That, and I watched the trailer... and it just looks weird. The whole jumping from one person to another is off (unless you were a Psychic as in Blood Omen II, or a spiritual entity of some form that could posses people), and the basic plot about a time shift... thing... that's going backwards and into the present and there's an organization from 2010 that's fighting these things...

Someone really has to explain that to me because the trailer just got me thinking the developers were on a mix of coke and acid through the whole process. Because that whole plot just seems like it's ready to spew time paradox's all over the fucking place.

Reminds me of that "The world ends with you" They made for the DS. Much different from their regular doings.

Playing Victoria II all day today. Most addicting thing I've done in awhile, though I know it's really a niche game.

Square Enix. They often seem like that. And then there's the moment of revelation. They make some very good plots. I know the original Parasite Eve was famous for both being scary as shit, and very unlike the usual Squaresoft stuff. (I believe they were still squaresoft at the time)

And yes, the World Ends With You was fantastic, although I need to get that last journal entry from Another Day still. When I was first handed it as a present, my reaction was "Oh goody, it looks hiphop themed :|" but I noticed it was square enix so I gave it a shot. Worthy.

Re: Games Discussion Thread

Awesome Games Done Quick is in progress. Super Mario Galaxy 2 gave them some scheduling troubles because of some Sonic 06 style glitches discovered during gameplay, but Portal was done in around half an hour or somewhere under there, and last check Halo was going on. So far it's going well. The only major issue is that the PC game disk for Myst has gone missing, so unless they get a replacement, it's off the list. The Myst run would have only been 3 minutes long, but I'm hoping someone overnights them a copy or something, could be cool.

In the first four hours, they raised $3600. GEEZUS. Current goal is $25000.

Ah... so a plot kind of like the old Xbox game Breakdown. Fuck that game had me shaking my head wondering if injecting smack directly through my ear canal would make it easier to understand, then suddenly out of no where... EXPLANATION! And everything made sense and suddenly... I felt cheated. It had become too plain after the mind numbing weirdness that led up to that.

"Wha... what the fuck is going on? Oh! Evil thing, destroy it, save world and humanity. Gotcha!"

Re: Games Discussion Thread

Well, it's probably because some people think of Halo as an epic game, so they feel they have to play it longer to sate the fans. Either that, or they're determined to beat it.
