Re: Hate Thread

Lrn2 unicode? : /
Oh well. I suppose not all can see my text emote visage of rage. Too much for the mortal eye to comprehend obviously...

And yeah Oni, that's it.

Re: Hate Thread

I have nearly all sets installed, so it always kinda catches me offguard when there's still boxes sometimes, so... meh.

Re: Hate Thread

I typically enjoy rain, but GOD DAMN, I hate it when it rains so hard, the entire town's flooded.

That pic pretty much says it all. The only difference is the little kitty is cuter than me. Yeah I know, everybody has to deal with it sometimes, but it's still how I feel. I don't want to stay up all night doing stupid research. :( Wish I could just lay around and cuddle something!

Re: Hate Thread

I hate it when people get angry at others for being angry, especially when they aren't angry :\

Re: Hate Thread

Got an Anatomy practical Thursday, then on Monday i have a Nursing final+Practical, and an Anatomy Final. I hate this field sometimes.

Re: Hate Thread

Typing the domain name into the url and trying to use a shortcut without noticing it's putting it INTO the previous url, not OVER it then freaking out when I get a split second of "WHERE THE FUCK IS ULMF?!"

Re: Hate Thread

I know this.

What the hell is a gooulmfgle, computer??

Re: Hate Thread

It's like that "Click me once to highlight everything" function just exists to piss us off.
"Tee hee! What's that? You wanna type something here? Alright, just click the bar once! I'll clear the current url so you can input the new one in! *Snicker*"

Wipe that smug-ass grin off your face, url bar. I know your game.

Re: Hate Thread

People actually still type in URLs these days? You don't have a macro button on your keyboard dedicated to ULMF?

Re: Hate Thread

I generally punch in the first letter of where I want to go then pick from the drop down history.

ULMF is actually my homepage. Not that I close my browser down all that often, though when I do I have it save my session so I don't lose anything I was looking at before. Though I never type in any other urls, I either go through my bookmarks or type in the name of something (like GameFAQS or Pirate Bay) and it takes me straight to the site. When it doesn't it directs me to a google search.

Re: Hate Thread

I hate Marvel.

I was reading some old spider man comics and apparently you have to follow up to three or four different magazines to get the complete stories. If you're lucky you might be able to reason what has happened between numbers n and n+1. I'm fine with all magazines following the same continuity, but when you only get parts 2 and 5 from 6 part story, you might as well skip the entire arc unless you're willing to track down the remaining parts...except that means skipping almost all of them. I persisted until Amazing Spider-man #400 something, which is the point where I couldn't follow the story at all.

Ze Marval loves to mix thier plots within thier plots within thier plots. I'd suggest either Deadpool (who is entirely random) or webcomics (who basicly focus arcs without having to blend with other contributors much, unless it's the rare collab arch)

Re: Hate Thread

Idem, DC too, well, comics in general.

I find it quite unfair to hold the likes of Image, Top Cow, Zynescope and many others who do good stories without confusing multi issue arcs, up against the likes of Marvel and DC.

It really is getting repetitive to have to remind people that Marvel and DC, while having the most famous characters and are the companies that come to mind immediately when mentioning comics, are not the only ones out there.

Anyone read The Walking Dead, Y: The Last Man, Crossed, The Darkness, Witchblade, Grimm Fairy Tales, Spawn, Conan, Red Sonja... I could go on, but it's annoying to listen to people go on like Spider-man and Batman and such are the only comics out there.

Re: Hate Thread

Mid-term week sucks, for many many reasons :(

Re: Hate Thread

The Walking Dead: Looking
Y: The Last Man: Looking
Crossed: Nope
The Darkness: Ooh.
Witchblade: Yup.
Grimm Fairy Tales: Yes. the Tales series too. (1001 Nights, or something)
Spawn: Yes.
Conan: Meh
Red Sonja: Not yet

What about Locke & Key?

Well, if any of those are entirely written by a single person and the artstyle is taken care of by the same person for the whole series then i can enjoy them.
Otherwise it only ends in chaos and bullshit, of which most mainstream comics seem to be made of...
