Re: Hate Thread
Before I go on, let me say that I hate my inability to let things go even after things have calmed down. My heart heals awkwardly.
Now, I have a few things to say that I could understand, but spawns hatred toward me. A person who tries hard, but apparently fails to be a good person in the eyes of a select few here. While I do have supporters and friends who I appreciate dearly, there are a few problems I'd like to address, then conclude with how my behavior works, to help give the few a better understanding of me, and my "attention" issues.
First off, the whole attention thing is part my behavior, and part SirOni's. Let me explain.
Oni used to be my friend and would actually draw my character out of kindness toward me. We'd play ERPs together in PM and we had a social connection. Then one day, the Shoutbox started. Previously, I only had two friends here. Hero-in-the-dark, and SirOni. It was just us three in Hero's chat client. With the shoutbox, I have gained more friends than just Oni.... and admittedly I haven't responded to Oni a lot since then.
The important thing is the very PM that Oni sent me that disrupted our ties and makes him to this day call me an attention monger for finally reaching higher education, among other news. His issues stem from his mother. He told me that seeing me grow apart from just him and hero is the exact thing his mother did to him, and he said he wanted to cut ties with me then and there so he won't be hurt like that again. Perfectly understandable, and let me be the one to say no one like that should abandon someone like Oni. Oni is smart, creative, and he can be a good friend. It takes a sick mind to be related to someone like him and leave him in an abandoned house. My sincere condolences. I do hope that this helps ease some of the repressed pain from that. If not, I can still help by continuing to be your punching bag or something.
Chibichibi is a very good person with a sense of justice I can admire. She seems to be very likable from my perspective, but there is one thing that makes us rub each other the wrong way. Our political beliefs. Without discussing politics, I should note that she makes very valid points and I should be seen as a bad person, in some respect, with opinions like hers. Chibichibi is still very nice to her friends and makes me want to give her lots of kittens.
Onward to my behavior. The reason why I always "RP" in the shoutbox is not because of attention. Not because I'm an actress. But because I taught myself to express myself best on the internet in character. Or shades of my character. When I hug, I mean friendship. When I work in my lab, I mean I have things to do. When I feed my pet turtle, I feed my cat. That is just me, and I apologize if I come out the wrong way to some.
I hope this clears the waters for some of you that don't like me very much.
