from what i remeber there is one new animation, and one new save point, there are some more additions but i dont remember them.

From the degree of movement you have available, I would personally remove the slowdown effect on dodging when playing on Very Hard and how dodging attacks successfully "nullifies" them, then you'd actually have to learn the timing instead of just dodging early

Lessening i-frames on dodges in proportion with the difficulty would probably be a decent way to go about it. The game has a perfect-block system, but I doubt anyone uses it because dodging dodges just as much damage.

I'd like to block more just from the frame advantage you get on perfect guards, but it requires me to be more reactive and less proactive since I can't cancel my attacks into guards like I can with dashes, but maybe I could see myself using blocking more with an ultra greatsword, maybe.

I'm saying that it's one thing to "critique" an honest issue and another to just "complain" about something with no real guidance whatsoever-- The main difference between the two being that "critiquing" is adapting a situation and "complaining" is moreso saying "Things aren't going my way so this sucks" and leaving it at that.

For one, I have no idea how you're getting that from what he wrote. He said the game was too easy and that it's more or less a CG viewer. Exactly what is he supposed to "adapt" to? Finding a different game? That isn't adapting; that's removing yourself from the situation entirely. How does that solve anything other than ensuring that this thread turns into an echo chamber?
Secondly, how in the world is that your definition of criticism? Criticising is to offer an opinion based on observation and is usually dissenting or recognizes faults. At no point is there any call to action, like you're suggesting. The REAL difference between criticizing and complaining is a matter of how much of a basis one has in their arguments, and how well they present their ideas. Does that mean that guy could be considered complaining? Sure. Does that mean his opinion can be dismissed and told he shouldn't be sharing it at all? Fuck no.

He can just as easily think that your opinion on the game is unjustifiably positive, and therefore you shouldn't share your opinion. I dont really care what they write, ive stated my opinion and i dismiss any posts thats just trying to be toxic and attacking me, instead trying to turn into a proper discussion. People like that are in every community, and sadly as of recent they are in the majority of most communities. Unable to accept others opinions, thinking their tastes are godlike and they need to be revered for that, and anyone who does not agree with their tastes should not even be alive.
BTW when i said easy i mean so easy that its boring, from start to first boss i didnt lose any HP and the boss didnt even hit me once. Im not saying the game has to have difficulty of Dark Souls, but at least be somewhat harder, at least to the level where you will see hentai scenes without losing on purpose just to see tham, because at this point, when you lose a game to see an erotic scene its not a game anymore but a tool to view cgs and animations. An example, Ghost Hunter Vena, not a hard game, but not really easy, there where points where many seen the hentai scenes because they lost not on purpose.
Someone said its not out yet and maybe the author is making the setting first than hes gonna focus on the gameplay, but that beats the purpose of him releasing this each time and calling it a game, since for around 4 or 5 updates nothing was done with the gameplay and only locations and scenes added, which is exactly my point, you dont need more locations and hentai animations in a game that has almost no gameplay.

I understand your point with the difficulty being on a level were you basically throw yourself into the enemys arms to see an Animation! I understand what you are criticising. I personally just believe that because the game is still not completely out yet everything can still be changed within the combat and more.
I dont really know exactly but is it possible to somehow maybe talk with the Creator about combat ? Im kinda new here so I dont know if the Information already was given and im too lazy to read so many pages uwu.
Maybe I should have wrote a bit more then the one sentence I did. I also agree with you that there has to be punishment when getting raped! Idk maybe like her Mind is weakened and therefor maybe attacks and moves slower and attacks are weaker ? Idk what would you say for Punishment after getting raped ?

Yeah, while the hentai is nice and all, I'd like to have fun as well. I know of the joke of going to porn for the story, but with a game it's very different. Games for many are for enjoyment and immersion. That's why I love Zell23's FOBS. If you want to see the hentai, you either have to just let yourself get caught and die which kicks you back to the respawn point (and erases your progress that you didn't save), or you EARN it which is very satisfying.

Basic mobs are quite on the easy side, yes. Bosses show a fairly more nuanced approach, but the basic difficulty level is stil rather easy (of course, if you don't abuse the difficulty system and enjoy Very Hard Candore raping you).
His previous game, Bullet Requiem, had particularly in the boss fights quite the difficulty spikes, with several levels managing to be fairly difficult (fucking Canyons) or maze-like (Library). NoR is far more.... relaxed in approach, and it's fairly easier. I'm not particularly willing to complain though, nowadays I play mostly for relax, and NoR's gameplay, while basic, is amusing enough to keep me interested. It's like playing cheapo Bloodstained, with the perk that this one is out.
Furthermore, saying that nothing was done about the gameplay is flat-out wrong: new enemies require add variety to combat encounters by themselves and the last area has some amusing mechanics with bells. I guess you can easily bruteforce them, but for example the Corpse Mass or whateverthenameis is an interesting approach as you can't kill it with stock weapons and you require Holy damage (arguably a copied Dark Souls mechanic, but it shows.... creativity.).
Well, as I'm not paying for the game I guess it's easy to defend it.

Give the game more time to develop. Sure, it takes around a month per new content, but in the long run, it'll come out as fun and full of delicious H-action. As it is now, it's enjoyable. The animations are nice, the battles are nice, and the enemies have a variety of attacks. Just gotta stay away for awhile until it's all done. XD

I understand and respect your thoughts, but.. The game is still alpha, Dlis is working his ass off to add content to the demos you play (For free, because I highly doubt you're supporting him on fantia/ci-en). The actual game already has a shitton of content, and he's still adding stuff. I understand you not liking the gameplay, I personally also dislike souls-style games, but atleast he added gameplay. Unlike most games in the currently really RPG saturated hentai game market, which don't even change the basic mechanics of RPGMaker, and just slap some art to the game and call it a game... Honestly tired as shit of low quality h-games, no wonder people pirate them (including me)
I'd say give this game some more time, it can only get better. But if you still dislike it, then that's ok, because we can't all share the same sentiment towards something.
With all that said, I haven't played since 0.18 and I'm jumping into 0.20 just now

On a more positive note, who wants to speculate on what the priest enemies' H-attack will be?I'm speculating mind control.
I'd want mind control for like a haunted mansion, with a mask forcing itself on her.
The priests will probably just be more bondage and whipping like the sinner slaves.

Now that would be an awesome addition! This game doesn't have any small flying enemies as of yet, so something like this would be like fighting the Medusa Heads in Castlevania. (But with Bloodborne rules!)

I don't remember Bullet Requiem having any flying enemies, so I don't know if he knows how to make any.
That said, he could fake a floating effect by just having a very tall empty space before the floating mask or whatever.

since haunted mansion there will be much more unnatural monster which i adore like since we already have a painting hand trap maybe like a demon shadow grab here from below and toys with her using her own shadows and maybe also when she goes near a mirror there's like ghostly hand just grab her inside the mirror and plays wif her.

There were flying enemies, but they didn't have animations; just patrolling fire wisps that shoot at you. Was in the first stage.
Could anyone remind me (because there are a LOT of pages to look through and the search engine is acting wonky again) what the keys are again. especially for menu navigation?
Better yet, it might be a good thing to put that in the original post. I swear, I've never seen a game before that forced people to ragequit out of the in-game menu because NOTHING remotely intuitive lets you out.
