OH ABSOLUTELY, both twitter and pixiv already one fire since beginning of january
I don't know...
Am I the only one that doesn't feel that way?
When it comes to hentai-manga.
A lot of the doujin artists I follow have went and started making normal manga and haven't really done adult content in a while.
Miyamoto Issa's been afk for a while, and his last work was pretty short.
Nori5rou's entered the regular manga space.
Honda Arima the god artist never gets his work translated, and hasn't joined fakku or anything so his works that he puts so much effort into don't get money. He also tried to enter the regular manga industry to not much success. I wouldn't be surprised if he quit art by now.
Kakuzatou-chi hasn't drawn in a year which is a really long time.
Kakao is doing art for a LN.
Only Tachibana Omina and Agata are doing decent right now for mangaka I care about. Tachibana Omina releases slow though, and Agata... well I have no complaints with Agata. Wish he/she'd do an adult male character again.
When it comes to hentai-anime.
Quality has been on the steady decline for a bit. The amount of h-anime that comes out monthly is like... barely 3 now. It used to be 5 or 6.
Majin and Pink Pineable are the only h-anime creator I have any expectations of anymore. Everyone else kinda sucks. All the good premises and licenses go to Queen Bee to mess up with royally bad animation.
When it comes to hentai-games.
There's been a market improvement across the board in quality, but at the cost of a general homogenization of game concepts.
The successful game formulas have been found and there's not much experimentation. Rhythm game adult game? Racing adult game? Heck I just want unique and fun battle systems in my RPGs again.
The quality works also take a considerable amount of time to release.
This year we'll probably get the finished MGQ, and REBF (which has worse animation-on purpose- than ROBFEOY.) I'll also release Sex Machine of course...
Just like Dieselmine's last game this game will probably come and go in like 2 weeks tops. Not much to discuss on games with no gameplay.
Ah... I forgot. Incubus Quest is probably gonna be the biggest release of the year.
But I mean... compared to 2020... it's not that much. We had Lilith in Nightmare, 2 of Marume Works games, the translation of all the SEQUEL games, the return of JSK, and more.
I'd love to be proven wrong though... What's got everyone so hype for 2021?
