Re: Shinobi Girl

Found that Koonsoft had updated to a trial .55 from his actual site, but can't find the game itself. Hoping someone here has better luck.

And from the pics on the site, it seems there is a beginning screen (like in Angel Girl), a "How to play" screen, and what appeared to be a very hot Game Over screen.

Anyway, good luck finding it, folks! I hope to play it soon. ;)

(Missed the third page, so this post is unimportant. Sorry, folks.)

You aren't missing much. v.55 is just a bug fix that makes the level end when it's supposed to every time

I think it also increased damage, as well as having a smaller Game Over screen so the player can see more of the game over pic.

Re: Shinobi Girl

The addition of splatters staying is a HUGE improvement for me. Heck, that was one of my favorite things in Demon Girl. Since Koonsoft released new versions of Angel Girl X after the 1.0 release, maybe that will make a later update too. :D

Re: Shinobi Girl

hey can anyone translate the screen after game start of this game and angle girl???

Re: Shinobi Girl

can´t wait for the update hope he will add some good enemys :D

Re: Shinobi Girl

To the man / women /it above me ........ I like ur avatar....a lot

Re: Shinobi Girl

My only concern...

If THIS is 5.5...

Basicly HALF of the game right there...

And we only gots three enemies to play with?

I'm just sayin he better have a pretty good reserve lineup...

Or I be shakin my fist...

Re: Shinobi Girl

Versionning is not an absolute science...

And the devellopment of a game is not limited to ennemy sprites...

.- . As others have said, version numbers doesn't mean much unless you know the development plan

For example, someone might work on the overall systems and once it's completed it's 50% done, despite not having an actual sprite or music of any kind.

Or in something like Tetris, finishing the game system is probably more like 80% done(just missing colorful blocks, musics, etc)

Re: Shinobi Girl

Let's not forget that sometimes people don't have a plan, or don't know how to make one, and just spam random numbers as it goes...
I've seen people make a joke out of their "versioning".

Re: Shinobi Girl

Thats not a random number. Usually its year/month/day, or variation of it.

For example: 20101211

While others make the game call it 1.00 and every time they add to it something new add one to it.

For example 1.01, 1.02 and so on.

I actually never saw any game maker so far who made fun of version hes/her game. Then again maybe I missed something vital.

Re: Shinobi Girl

20121221 ... date of death ... JESUSCHRISTFIREINTHESKYKINDADEATH
this is also not a random number bwahahah.
