Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

if so well have another week (meaning another thursday) to get her. it also coincides with the expected (by me) eastern update (wich will add samurais,Pirates and ninjas)

pirates and ninjas? for sure? well... now I'll have to endure urge to roll in hope for Garania  that can be a bit difficult task, however... Minerva in gatcha? Or maybe some other nice unit? :D

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Tesseract made me want to go back and revamp the farming recommendation for the thread over on Hongfire... so I did. Here it is. Make of it what you will. It is ever so slightly different from Tesseract's recommendations(really because we pulled from the same info). While mine is a little more definitive... with a 'do this or you are doing it wrong' feel to it.

Afk Farming: While these maps may not be the best they allow you to place your units and go afk without worry. Do the highest one you have access to.
  • Pastoral Gate
  • Tower Overwatch
  • Dragon Hunting

Gold Farming: You should only be doing these maps after you are able to complete Castle Retake as experience is far more important than gold at this point. The first map requires that you sell the units that drop while the second is just the pure gold you receive from 3★ the map.
  • Pastoral Gate
  • Deep Forest Road
Note: While Pastoral Gate will give the most gold if all 5 units drop consistently, but on average doing Deep Forest Road and selling the units you receive from it will give more gold.

Experience Farming: Leveling yourself, your girls, and for those of you that keep them around to leer at your women... Your soldiers.
  • Prince(You): Dragon Hunting
  • Soldier: Return to Ruins
  • Heavy Armor: Return to Ruins
  • Valkyire: Return to Ruins
  • Rogue: Return to Ruins
  • Princess: Return to Ruins
  • Bandit: Remnant Vanquish 1
  • Archer: Return to Ruins
  • Mage: Return to Ruins
  • Healer: Return to Ruins
  • Witch: Return to Ruins

Mutliclass Experince Farming: This provides more unit experience per charisma than above, but only when leveling multiple units of a specific class. Which in turn levels those two unit slower then focusing on them.
  • Soldier and Archer: Pastoral Gate

Special Note: While not the best choice for a specific thing. When focusing on experience, gold, and unit experience. Remnant Vanquish 3 will allow you to do almost all of the above albeit slower. The price of being jack of all trades it seems. In terms of unit experience it will give you 4 less experience per charisma then the standard of Return to Ruins and Remnant Vanquish 1 in the case of bandits. While only giving you .1 less experience per charisma in regards to the prince and his standard of Dragon Hunting. In terms of gold per charisma it is 22.5 gold behind Deep Forest Road.

TL; DR Do Remnant Vanquish 3 if you are trying to level yourself, your units, and keep some gold in your pockets.

Affection Farming: This is just a choose which fairy you need the most.
  • Silver: Low Cost Battle
  • Gold: A Gigantic Enemy
  • Platinum: Phalax 2
  • Black: Low Cost Battle 3
Note: Phalax 2 drops both gold and platinum fairies, and Low Cost Battle 3 drops both gold and black fairies. If you need the higher rarity as well as gold run the higher rarities map.

Another thing to take into consideration for gold efficiency while unit XP farming is: Gold cost per unit XP point. That data is not reflected in the wiki, because there is no reliable way to calculate and display it; unit combine cost per slot is based on what level unit you are strengthening. It would take some time to do the exact maths, but basically you're going to be using roughly 2x-4x as much net gold using LV3 drops (Pastoral) vs using LV14 drops (RtR) to gain the same amount of XP per CHA. That is probably fine if you're just trying to get your base units to level 15-20 or so, but the higher level the recipient unit, the more exponentially dramatic the strain becomes on your flat Gold/CHA income.

Though... I guess I've got kind of a pointless argument, since the math involves a LOT more factors than that, and the differences are relatively minuscule. When it comes down to it, you probably can't go wrong if you're farming any of the maps on that list. I'd still recommend dropping Pastoral Gate like a hot rock if you've got any of the other maps on the list unlocked.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Gold cost per xp

Here is what I have in my notes:
A*(160+(B*40))
A = Number of Materials
B = Level of Unit

Gold cost per experience point isn't calculated because it is dependent on the unit's level. A level 49 unit being fed 4 materials worth 8,000 exp total will cost 8,480 gold while a level 1 unit being fed 4 materials worth 8,000 exp total will cost 800 gold.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

aaaand thats the main reason we wont ever be able to change units

True, but I don't see why they don't offer an option to merge accounts for a fee. Make the price like $50 plus per account should even out any loss of crystal sales it might otherwise prevent.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Yeah, was able to do H map with my pitiful Soma :D All thanks to my lovely Bashira :D
Could only 1 star it though :/ One eye run away and Kerry couldn't survive. Oh well... 4 drops x3 crystals. Chydis I'm coming for you!

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So Nutaku did say that the next event involved ninja's right(Someone mentioned in the facebook group)? That means Warriors of the East event is next up on the block.

If so I'll have to go look into a map so I can give proper recommendation on what to focus on over on hongfire(and the facebook group to a lesser extent). A little early, but that never hurt anyone.

Yep. That's the basics of it. You also have to factor in same unit bonus, and bronze unit bonus. Which... if you do that, you have to know the exact drop rate % of each unit, and then factor that in to some kind average for every base unit level. You end up having a HUGE table to look at. Its not worth doing.

Pretty much.... I prefer the do this to level faster.... do this to get the gold to be able to level faster.... do this if you want to level and have gold, but you do both a little slower.

not as far as im aware.
however next two events are warriors of the East and Gold rush.
if we skip gold rush we wont have Warriors
if we dont well have warriors.
either way we win

Now a personal question...

Is it possible to get both Karmas? I like both and I can't choose so I've decided they are yingyang twins...

Honest I'm prepare to spend quite a bit of crystals to get that 1200 time crystals... Trying to do the math out right now.

Also.. what is her class anyway? I imagine it just a princess that has life steal but,...

EDIT:
Wait this math can't be right.... if I were to do that event the entire time I'd only end up with 275 of what I need on average.. That would mean... and each crystal would equate to about 10 more on average... that would mean something like 95 SC for a perfect Karma... DAFUQ?! She is cute and all, but not worth 95 USD cute..

I hear a lot of people talking up Cyrus, is there something about him that makes him better than other Gold mages?

So far since starting the game all my summons have been gold: 3 mages (Barbastroff x2 and Mehlis), 1 soldier (Julian), and Belly King Conrad. I think I am doing well. :) I guess I should start saving crystals for the next event?

Also, what is 'gatcha'?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So who's turtle girl?

Rearguard tactician or w/e, Aisha
her skill is to attack 5 enemies at once in an area around her, which once skill awakened she does 3xs norm dmg and expands to 3xs her reg range
in the vid that was shown, with prince's buff & max stats & affection, she would do about 1,700 dmg per skill hit

she's also a loli so no idea about how long it'll take for us to get her, if ever

Cyrus is the worst gold mage imo. It goes Mehlis>Barbastroff>Cyrus. People get him if they have no luck getting something better from gatcha.

And gatcha in our case is summoning at temple.

I think he was recommended in some of the old guides just because he is one of the only mages easily available to "freemium" players. We've got more choices now that more mages have been added. I think both Barbastroff and especially Mehlis are superior, stat-wise. If you got both of em already, no reason to go for Cyrus, imho. Unless old guys with beards turn you on. WHICH IS TOTALLY FINE, ALRIGHT!?!? ohgodihopeBarbastroffnoticesme....

"Gatcha" or "Gacha" is just a japanglish term for lottery rolls. In this game, it refers to the Shrine.

Gatcha is the lottery system by which you summon units. Whether or not you save crystals or not is largely up to you - it depends on whether or not you want to chance getting a value/powerful unit from gatcha (Or pull something of significantly less value, but still some use like a silver/gold) or if you want to save crystals to make farming events more valuable. For events where you're going for drops though you're still betting on chance, so either way it's a gamble.

Looked her up. Seen plenty that are called loli and you can get past em.
That one actually makes me uncomfortable, I doubt we'll see her as no amount of "enhancement" (boob job or what have ya) can remove the loli from her.
