This is mild vore.
They're usually categorized by being swallowed whole and may be accompanied by tentacles. In this example, it's just her traveling down an esophagus. When digestive juices come into play, they're usually a picture-by-picture basis of which ones are mild and which ones are hardcore. In my opinion the ones like what Oni drew so far is mild. She only lost her clothes and hair and no actual traces of real gore can be seen in the picture right now.
As a comparison, I present mild guro.
It draws blood and you can clearly see the amount of pain, but you can see she hasn't been completely killed yet. While I don't mean mild guro can't involve death, I just notice that the wounds found in it are usually more survivable compared to hardcore guro.
This is hard vore.
Hard vore is a lot more violent. Swallowing/dissolving usually doesn't fall into this category to me, unless it involves severe mutilation from the dissolving. Usually, hard vore focuses a lot more on actually eating someone. Biting into, chewing, and drawing blood of the victim are all telltale signs.
For comparison, here's some hard guro.
I couldn't find any penetration ones that wasn't a loli. Turns out all my guro that has sex in it are also all underage.
So yeah, mild vore does exist. It just involves swallowing people whole. Light dissolving is sometimes there and tentacles may be present. Yeah, mild vore is pretty tame compared to guro, but that's because it relies more on the fetish of eating than the shock value of seeing blood. But like a Pokemon, the more it evolves, the much more effective it is. FOr instance, I disagree with the idea that hard vore isn't as bad as hard guro. Your definition of hard vore sounds like it relies on the digestion process rather than the actual eating. Eating is part of the vore, and that can get pretty damn graphic.
