[WIP - Full] SHRIFT Translation Version 2.0 (Machine and Manual Translation)

By the way, I don't think I took the opportunity yet, but thanks for the translation, really. I heard about Shrift a little in the past and took interest in it when MGQ Paradox released that collab, and since it's one of the only game that had a translation I decided to check it.

So sincerely, thank for your effort, I really appreciate being able to play the game in english given I don't understand a word of japanese.

So question, how far along are the DLC's (Not EX chapters) translated? I was going to go ahead and buy them now that Dlsite is integrated, and I can now use my points over on Ci-en. I'm going to buy them anyways at Some point but just thought I would go ahead and ask. Thanks for the translations as always btw.

Version 3.1 is finally finished!

Changelog for version v3.1:

  • EX3 is now fully hand translated, including the teaser for EX4.
  • Fixed minor typos throughout the game.
  • Made minor improvements to the patcher software.

Enjoy!

Edit: Added old method for compatibility's sake.

We're definitely continuing on to the other EX Dungeons. Not quite sure if we want a very quick patch covering EX1 or a patch that combines both EX1 and EX2 together yet. Both combined are about the size of EX3 translation wise.

Can i ask you for help? I get "Failed to load script" error then try to run a game with new 3.1 translate with OlsZip link. Did i need something for fix this?
Can antivirus trigger on patch?
OK. It was antivirus, who block the file, sry.

Personally, I liked EX2's content better than EX1's and would be willing to wait, but I can't speak for everyone. Whatever you choose, I'll be fine with it.

I hate to bring this up, but you guys missed a dialogue with Puck after running away from a certain fight in EX3
He's hiding behind one of the pillars below Cheshire

No worries mate, throw up a screenshot and I'll grab it in the next version we release.
 
So is Mormo my room still not translated or did i mess up something patching?
 
Every time i install a new patch all the EX crystals go dark. any way to fix this? sucks having to redo a bunch of stuff to get them again.

They are machine translated, and I did a decent amount of work to EX2 to make it playable, at least. We're tackling them for real next release (y)

I think there's a bug with EX 3,after I finished it, watch the collab scene, then I load my game into from where I suppose to fight ( Fairy) and Sphixn but the game counts that I defeat her, know how to deal with Sphinx and change her back to normal, so that save skips bunch of event that suppose to happen. I only has Big Sphinx scene left.
Thank you very much for translating EX3 even to the lost scenes, being broken 4th wall is a nice, rare feeling I like to get from game like this.
P/S I bought the DLC but they're in Japanese right ?
still try figuring out how to install them =.=
