I've ported over the rest of my translations. There are a few things that I really couldn't make sense of, so I left those alone. But that's only about 5 lines or so. I'd like to tackle combat dialogue, but:
  1. I won't have any time for a week or two. At all.
  2. I fear that the broken context detection that I mentioned earlier would make it pretty much pointless

2-Won't be a problem.

Edit: could you just take a look at these? Look at afrg_spellcheck and correct spelling when needed (like 'rythm' -> 'rythm REPLACE rhythm').

Look at the latest patch (or MainDictionary) and see if you changed some names (skills/... like Titanoboa -> Titan boa). It's sort of important because the translation is no longer coherent if you do changes like that.

I already proofread once and I don't want to do it twice....

Ok I'll handle the rest. I'll try to warp things up for this WE.

Use the latest patch if you want to translate again.

Edit: you didn't have to proofread the whole dictionary.
Edit2: wow, didn't even notice barguest/barghest
Edit3: you files (?) seems to crash RPG Trans, is that what you men by "broken context detection"?.... I have no idea what's happening... This will be interesting to debug.
Edit4: not your files no idea what's happening ...
Edit5: RPG Trans is just broken, but now it's fixed.

To use for future reference.
NamesOfficial: Official names, no change allowed
MainDictionary: Names used by the auto-translator, reference for future translations, change carefully
JAPANESE (tab) ENGLISH_1 (tab) ENGLISH_2 (tab) ...
Example 1, nickname given by Titanoboa (you don't want any other translation):
ネズミくん little mouse
Example 2, random scream that is manually translated because google can't handle it (don't pay attention to it):
あーあー… Ah, ah…
FacePatch: same as patch in downloads, but replaces 'Dialogue" with "DialogueFace" when the game message has face in it.
Most text must have lines that are shorter than 60 characters of they will spill out of the text window and won't be visible by the player.
That limit changes to 50 for dialogues when a picture of a character face uses 10 characters worth of space.
Replace "DialogueFace" by "Dialogue" once you're done.

The translator can proofread issues like incorrect name translation or sentence length. It's helpful if you don't make too many mistakes but it becomes a real pain if there are too many to fix.

Commonevents/24/74/Dialogue is the last place this string was detected, but the other entries should point to other locations. This happens all over the skills and items as well.

Ah Ok. This is an issue and I haven't fixed it yet.
I thought it was just a duplicate and hopefully RPGMTrans can fill in the missing context.
But I'll fix this just in case there's a translation that needs to differentiate between CONTEXT.

There will, most likely, be an official translation (but not from me). Once/if the Pratreon is set up and chapter 4 is released, things should go smoothly (at least a pro translator will be able to start).

I'm confident I'll be faster than anyone to produce a decent patch though. But I won't do a paid translation. My translation was free from the start and I can't ask for money without giving a huge middle finger to those who contributed/plan to contribute with their translation.
Also, I still need use some experience with translators to improve my program.

There will be an offical english translation :)
As soons as chapter 4 is done he will start it.

When I first met the plush doll thing and his secretary(?) trried to lead me into a room, this error popped up and the game crashed. What should I do?

I think your version of the game is incompatible with the patch.
Delete assets/Data in the patch folder, try again, and see if it solves your issue.

You'll miss some of the translation but that souldn't be a problem.

That should work. The bug is due to Data/Scripts.rvdata2.
Either Scripts.rvdata2 has a problem or the game map has a problem and tries to call a script that doesn't exists.

Did you edit Scripts.rvdata2? Does that also happen in the Japanese version?

To get the game version:
更新履歴.txt or 初めにお読みください.txt next to the game .exe
The patch was made with ver3.05.

Currently rushing 3.11 patch. I'll be ready for part 4.
I'm almost done updating the translator for the game.

No major difference in the TL quality, it'll still be google trad + manually translated words + manually translated parts.

There will be a few difference regarding scripts:
- a script for full screen (not my own, I suggested it for the creator and he might add it to the original game)
- a script to skip events faster (I originally made it for another game)
- a script to translate the character name (and other stuff) when using a Japanese save file (can also be used to correct the some bugs that will most likely plague part4 on release, or just cheat)
All info will be in the READ ME file.

I'll release the patch this WE or in a few days

Hopefully, there won't be any bug but I would like some people to play it and bring those things to my attention so I'll be completely ready for part4.

The objective is to have something decent on release (and being able to finish the game while the others will be lost with their own ITH translation :p)
