I'd say the plot was rather predictable, however the visuals... That stuff was generated using technology that is now obsolete and yet it still look borderline costume/make-up as opposed to cg at points. The main thing I'm thinking now is: if we can make stuff look that good now, think about how it will look in a couple of years.
And Sam Worthington plays Perseus. I've been very happy with Worthington's acting abilities in everything from the modern day rendition of MacBeth he was in, to Avatar, and Terminator: Salvation.Funny that that's always been my train of thought on Clash of the Titans. I remember thinking about how phenominal the effects were for the time (especially Medusa) and always wondered what would happen if they remade it. Guess I'm going to find out when it gets released.
what i heard from someone who saw it, is that most of the movie is watching this guy get tortured.I actually believe someone said in the first page that this should be about all movies... so that a new topic doesn't pop up everytime a new movie comes out.
Speaking of which, anyone seen "Brothers". It looks really good.
While I haven't seen it, I doubt I'd call it nothing. PTSD ain't nothing. The only real reason to see it is to watch spider-man go batshit over nothing.
Just saw this yesterday, it was very good. The casting choices were indeed brilliant.Ah yes, I definately want to see Sherlock Holmes, I mean who better to play a cocaine addict than Downey. Not to mention Sherlock Holmes being one of my favorite fictional characters.
hehe the floating mountains part is easy as hell to explain. The science of Avatar Deconstructed!
