Well, I'm heading to bed now. I'll keep the server running if anyone wants to take a go. I've also backed the world up, so if it gets discovered and griefed, we've got something to go back to.
Also, my Minecraft client was dying a lot, so I couldn't place my sign on my island. It's the heavily forested one that you can see at the end of OAMP's dock.

Minecraft suddenly started working again. I've chopped down my metal doors for now and replaced them with the old wooden ones. And I noticed a big ass tower. Havent checked it out yet though.

I've found the most reliable way to shut (wooden) doors is to click the top, then wait for it to glitch, click the bottom, glitch again, then bottom again. It ususally stays shut then.
Also, self-advertising, but my CYOA could use a bit more traffic. Found a cool cave yet only one vote so far!

Jeez, I was on this for over 6 hours...
But at least we managed to get Rapture started, Here's hoping we have the drive to build our sprawling underwater metropolis over as much seabed as we can.

Nah, its a survival multiplayer server....I think. Though I haven't seen any mobs yet though. And I cant remember where I said I favour creative mode, I've always liked doing it the hard way. It's more rewarding that way.

Mobs aren't in SMP yet, besides dungeons, which we've found a few.
Besides, if it was creative, we wouldn't have to mine, we'd have everything we need via magic and blocks would break instantaniously.

Holy shit, minecraft has updated.
Looks like torches are now quickly becoming obsolete.
EDIT: Seems like I'm jumping the gun. These updates will be going up at the 31st October. And apparently all pre-existing torches will be transformed into lanterns.

Lava and water can be given to a person inventory by the admin if you really want it.
Or find a natural lava formation, that's how I'd do it anyway...
And then again, a major update is coming on the 31st, buckets might be included.

So I accidentally set my base on fire earlier. Luckily only the ladders leading down to the mine I was working on and the floor and roof was destroyed. Still, was sad to see all that good wood gone to waste. Thankfully I had enough spare wood left over to replace the floor and roof.

Good thing 99.9% of my evil base is made of stone.
And that reminds me, who made a stone path to my base, then sealed it off? I figure it was in response to my saying in the town hall that I hate two block high tunnels, but come on, I totally went out of my way to make that path not suck so bad to look at, and walk through.
