You know, doing good deeds really does make you feel good. I took the time to help a few little old ladies get down the stairs at the polling place and to their car today, I think they were surprised a "young man" would still go out of his way to help them in this day and age.

PROGRESS! Nunu has gotten my sub forums up in my Ikki Tousen RP and I've put up several sub threads for people to post in. Sometime I am going to get out some NPCs for people to interact with included in the forum as well. And I finally managed to get Unholy Sanctum to play. *pats himself on the back* :D

Our neighbors' young cat is hanging around our house quite often, as our neighbors' cats are wont to do, strangely. While cute, he's really goofy. He's constantly suckling on his tail - and just now, I offered him my finger, and he suckled on that as well.

Strange cat... mind you, one of our cats, for some reason, licks the furniture as if our sofas or office chairs require cleaning. The tabby cat, fittingly named Skippy for how she hops and skips about, enjoys sitting on my shoulder.

Hnn... Minecraft! XD Um, started yet another game and had the massive fortune of landing myself in a cavern with lots of water springs above lots of Lava... Accidentally and intentionally created a possible metric-tone of obsidian. Found enough diamonds for a perfect axe. Might be a while...

Edit; 56 and counting. Should be able to get 70+? And just realized how much of a god-send Gravel is - dropping it into the lava that the Obsideon was created on top of, thus saving the rare stuff from being destroyed. Not sure what else aside from Nether-gates I'll actually use this for though.

Played through my fair share of Team Fortress and Left 4 Deads over the last few days. And I don't entirely suck.... just no snipar till I get bettar. >,>;

Super naughty thoughts about Richard Kruspe! Wanting to ride him all night long in his throne possibly with other women present. Mmm Yummy. I'm not so giddy about how this is distracting me from everything else I'm supposed to be doing but who cares. ;)

I wish I had groups of fans...

But apparently original work is harder to get people to read than fan fiction.

I'd blame the short attention spans people have today. They're too lazy to learn new characters and would rather read about ones they already know (and are irrationally infatuated with) :(

I would hardly consider us really a group though, really there's maybe a dozen people on the forum who will read anyone's story. Only half of them will actually make any comments on top of that. Of course Sinful does post her stories in other places as well, so if she combined the people who liked her stories form all the places she posts, she might approach a group of fans.

Boy that wasn't very giddy inducing was it.

I never said I didn't have people who enjoyed what I put down, and I of course appreciate the support you guys give. There are some others from other sites that comment as well, but it still is easier online for people to dive into fan fiction.

I don't think it's short attention span, I think it's more along the lines that these are set worlds that people like to see expanded with characters they love/hate, or with new characters as is the case with many Dragon Age fanfics. It's still people enjoying the expansion of worlds already built... worlds that have much money poured into advertisement to reach broader audiences.

Anyway, my original point is that I'm jealous with Chibs, not upset. Not her fault.
